When my 10 year old dog Jack developed blood in his urine it opened up a whole cascade of medical discoveries that ultimately led to him needing to have many stones removed from his urinary bladder as well as a large stone removed from his gallbladder. These surgeries were absolutely lifesaving and I was worried sick about whether he would survive not only the surgery but also the recovery, which can involve complications and a lengthy hospital stay. Throughout the entire process Healthy Paws was right there by our side. They provided me with a pre-approval document for his surgery, they paid 60% of the cost of his care almost immediately, and then emailed me several days later to ask about how Jack was doing. As a client and a veterinarian myself I HEAVILY researched many different companies before deciding on Healthy Paws. After my ordeal with Jack I would never even consider having another pet insurance for my two dogs and two cats, I recommend this insurance to all my clients and to every pet parent. As someone who keeps VERY close tabs on all of my pets' health, I can tell you things can creep up that you could never have anticipated or planned for financially.

I have been with Nationwide, formerly VPI, for about 12 years, both my dogs have had big and small heath issues and so far I can't complain. Great customer service.

Easy and cooperative company to deal with.

We have a sweet Cavachon who unfortunately has a sensitive stomach . Often throws up. Is on prescription dog food. Has had a couple of other health issues. We have Nationwide major medical and are grateful for it. They have has been there for us. Other than regular check ups, shots, etc. our bills have been covered.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Nationwide has been fabulous with both of our Bichons - supportive, understanding and reasonable - I can't say enough great things about this insurance company. I will never own another pet without them - allows us to give them the BEST care without worry. Thank you!!!

Nationwide... yeah, it’s worth it!

So far my experience has been phenomenal! I have even recommended several people to Nationwide and they signed up. I wish their was a more simple way to submit a claim.
