Hassle free, peace of mind
I am so grateful that we have this insurance!! The puppy eats everything she can get into her mouth and we've already been to the doggy ER twice. Claim submission can't be easier, and when I don't have to worry how much the procedures are goign to cost, I can concentrate on taking care of my pet.

I can't believe filing a medical claim with such prompt response could be this easy!
My dog was taken to the vet hospital for endoscopy This was the first time I was filing a claim for services and did not know what to expect. I was amazed at how quickly Trupanion responded to the information submitted by the hospital staff. Within minutes I knew my claim was approved and paid! Your concern for my dog's welfare in follow up correspondence was appreciated.

Embrace was a life saver for our newly adopted rescue pup with hip dysplasia.
Embrace has been an excellent company for us. We have had three pets on their insurance. Our latest pet, Dixie who was adopted from a rescue organization developed a limp in her hip about 7 months after we adopted her, four x-rays later ( all covered by Embrace), it was discovered she had hip dysplasia. Embrace did their due diligence, checking with vets from the state from which she was adopted to see if there was any previous treatment for hip dysplasia, and once finding out that there had been no prior issues, they covered her 4200 operation. Thankfully I had signed up for 80% coverage with medicine. They kept in touch with me at all times, and were very easy to contact. Submitting claims on their website was a breeze. The only downside, as far as my experience goes, was the length of time it takes Embrace to process the claims. But, if they have to check with past vets, they are at the mercy of those offices to get back to them with informatin.

Easy to submit claims, but medical review took almost 2 months.
Claims are easy to submit online. My dog had skin allergies with a lot of appointments and I had to submit all this medical records. It took about two months for Nationwide to review the medical records, before I received reimbursement for my claims.

Good foundation but go faster
I appreciate the help with the vet costs but on the other hand I pay good money every month for that very thing and I expect faster attention to my claims. My last claim took over 30 days and I had to contact customer service to inquire. After that all four of my pending claims went through fast.

Thanks For Helping, Just Wish The Process Was a Bit Faster
From a non-business perspective, overall, thank you very much for proving my money hasn't been wasted these 6 months. I really appreciate the financial relief that your service has provided for this visit. On a strictly business review process I wish there was more translation of the progress of a claim and/or the process was faster. I waited nearly a week just to see if the claim was received correctly. (I did not receive even an auto-message to say it was received). Then I waited about 2-3 weeks to see what was happening with the policy. I would have preferred regular updates as a new customer as it made it really hard to prepare financially.
