The best decision I made was to get pet insurance for my pets.
I have been nothing but pleased with Nationwide for my pets and they are both senior dogs. The filing of a claim is effortless and NW promptly processes each claim I submit. If I have any questions everyone I have spoken to has been great. There were no surprises in policy and everything has been exactly what was stated.

Long process
The process is flawed. A couple of times I had to re-submit paperwork. It took excessively long for the claims to finalize. My health insurance doesn’t take as long as this one. I made a couple of calls to customer service. One call was pleasant but the second call seemed I was wasting their time

Easy and quick reimbursement from claims
ASPCA has been great with our dog Stella. They are very nice over the phone and will check in to make sure everything is ok with Stella. The claims are easy to submit on their app. I’ll definitely renew with them again.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a life-saver!
Our now almost 15 year-old pug had pancreatitis a little over a year ago, and we almost lost her. Nationwide had our backs because we didn't have to worry about the hospital/vet/medication bills while we were nursing her backing to health! Since she's an old girl, she's having difficulty walking because of some back issues and she's receiving cold laser treatments which have literally changed her life! She's walking and happy again, and Nationwide has been there for it all! Customer service has been outstanding, and i'm grateful for this wonderful insurance! Thank you, Nationwide!
