Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet…

Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet insurance out there. I’ve been with them for over 15 years and they have never disappointed us. We recently had a medical bill of over $10,000 for our cat Vixie, and in less than a week it was approved for payment. That kind of support during such a stressful time is priceless. Choosing Healthy Paws was one of the best decisions we ever made. It gives us peace of mind knowing we never have to choose between our finances and our fur babies’ health. I recommend them to every pet parent I know.

Company that’s actually a pleasure to do business with…

Spot is a great company to deal with regarding my pets care. No one wants to have to take their pet to the vet for an illness, but when you do it’s comforting to see how effortless and easy filing a claim wuth spot can be. Will remember to tell my friends and neighbors how good it is to deal with this company.

Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere

When dealing with this company it is important to realise they will try everything to not try and pay for rehabilitation after surgery even when told it would all be covered. I highly recommend choosing another company such as CAA, vet board insurance or true panion. Absolute nightmare and they do not care about your well-being or your pets just about your credit card number and charging it on a monthly basis. This is especially disappointing because I did my due diligence, calling them to make sure the surgery and rehab would be covered, these calls are supposed to be recorded you can very easily go back to hear what was said. But it's easier for them to brush you off because they know that you won't be able to go anywhere else since it's now considered a pre-existing condition. Great job Fetch, you definitely know how to use the system to your advantage.....

Predatory as pets age. Would avoid.

Raised my dogs premium $160 this year with 0 explanation of premium change. When questioning I got the same automated canned reply twice in a row. They were great when my dog was young and healthy and didn't need coverage, predatory now that it is much more difficult to switch providers. Hopefully the insurance commissioner for Washington will step in. I would avoid Healthy Paws at all costs.

Best Pet Insurance I have had

I have had half a dozen pet insurance companies. Spot is the first that took the time to review my dogs records and issue reimbursement based on the information given. They were able to discern from what was a pre existing condition and a new problem. Payment is quick and timely. I have Wellness as an add on and it’s nice to get reimbursement for various vaccinations and services.

You need to change your wording in your in your benefit for better explanation

You need to change your wording in your available benefits. You say emergencies are covered but yet you considered an emergency room visit as an office visit that is misleading. And to me unscrupitable. When you say you cover emergency you should cover emergencies that's what people are paying for when they get that coverage. You're also very slow in approving claims.
