Excellent Customer Care!
"Pet's Best has been a safeguard for our sweet labs who eat anything and everything. The whole process of filing a claim couldn't be easier. The funds arrived in my account in a surprisingly short amount of time. We wouldn't ever be without coverage from this excellent company. Thank you for excellent service! "

Highly recommend Fetch Pet, great customer service
Amanda was very informative and helpful. Fully explained options and and benefits as well as how billing system works. I switched from Trupanion and the services offered are beyond what they can offer.

Spot has one of the lowest premiums and best overall customer service experience
Spot quickly and efficiently processed the 2 claims I’ve submitted in the 3 years I’ve been with them. When I shopped around for pet insurance, Spot had the lowest premium with the most coverage. My premium didn’t go up in my second year and increased very little last year. I am highly satisfied with this company. The few times I spoke to a phone representative with questions, they were so courteous and patient. It was a pleasure talking with them.

I submitted my first claim early…
I submitted my first claim early October and then about 10 days later I received email saying I needed to send in more documentation on Oct 20. Before I had a chance to add document, the claim was deleted from the portal. I called in and the rep said I could email the additional document and they would send in. I didnt see my old claim re-opened a few days later so decided to resubmit all documents at once just so it shows in portal. 10 days later I got the approval which is why I gave a 3 star vs 1 star but automatically deleting history or claims is not cool at all.

Disappointed 10-Year, Loyal Customer
I was beyond disappointed to learn that the first claim I've submitted in almost a decade of paying into this insurance, was denied within seconds. I brought my senior dog in for emergency care after he showed a concerning change in behavior, a new mass on his shoulder, and he seemed uncomfortable. Relentless panting, pacing, hiding under our legs, and lifting his paw off the ground for 2 days, and a new mass had us fearing that he was in pain. After running a series of tests to rule out potential causes, we were relieved to learn that nothing glaring was found that would indicate an underlying issue. However, these tests were performed to search for causes of pain. How this would not be covered is beyond me. I have been a loyal and reliable customer for over a decade, and used this insurance only 2 times for minor issues in that span of time. The one time that I truly needed this insurance, I was denied. I am in the process of appealing this claim. If it is not resolved, not only will you lose a faithful customer, but I will make sure to share this review on every forum and platform possible- so that people can shop elsewhere when looking for trustworthy and reliable pet insurance.

Pet Parents… Run
I’ve had other pet insurance and Met Life is THE WORST!!!!! Every little thing requires multiple phone calls and emails. (1) It took almost a year, emails and phone calls to have electronic reimbursements rather than mailed checks. (2) Unlike other insurance companies (e.g., Nationwide), Met Life requires you submit SOAP notes for every visit. My veterinarians were confused and have never had this experience with other insurers. (3) When you submit all the requested paperwork, the claims examiners do not read it. They denied claims because a) they confused the pets on my policy, b) confused documents that were paid by prior insurers but were required for review of current claims, c) were deemed to be pre-existing conditions when my policy specifically exempted pre-existing conditions. (4) Met Life randomly cancelled my policy without telling me and after I incurred a large bill for my dog. It took multiple calls to fix this. Unless you have only 1 young animal, don’t use Met Life. At best they are not competent enough to handle anything complicated and at worst they are stealing premiums by not providing the contracted for services.
