MetLife Pet Insurance is always responsive to my questions and claims. They appear to be genuinely concerned about my pet's well-being. Customer service representatives are well-trained and knowledgeable. Good value for pet insurance. Online Vet Chat is an added benefit.

I like the company but my policy was…
I like the company but my policy was canceled because my card was inactivated. In their message they said they attempted to call me to remedy the situation. If this happened, they never left a message as to who they were, etc. I never received an email to my knowledge either. This should not have happened!

Smartest move we have made
The reps I have spoken with are very helpful. Claim submission is a breeze and usually I get the refund in days. It has taken up to a week but that is rare.

With each claim I submit, I end up having to chat in or call because I get "needs more information" emails just to be told I do have everything in when I ask. Making the reimbursement time much longer than necessary.

The one time i called with questions the gentleman I spoke to was so helpful and courteous. The claims process has been super easy. I’m so thankful I signed up my dog for this program. It’s been extremely valuable in her health care.

I must admit it was a learning curve…
I must admit it was a learning curve for me to understand the documentation needed for reimbursement. However once I understood what was needed my claims were reimbursed in a timely manner. Customer service reps were always kind and expressed care for my dog. Really appreciate them!
