Worth it!
Honestly, because I opened the policy so soon to my cat getting injured I was only anticipating the claim going toward my deductible, if it was accepted at all. But it was! The process was very easy. I've had a house full of cats over 20 years. This is the first one I thought I should get insurance for. It's already clear I made a good choice, not only with the insurance, but also with the provider I picked. Thank you!

Healthy Paws was great with my recent claim. I submitted my claim, they reviewed it quickly and got back to me with my coverage amount via email. I just received my check. All was communicated, resolved and paid quickly with no issues.

Insurance I actually love
I will always plan to be a trupanion member as long as I have a pet. Getting my dog as w puppy I insured her from the start. And I am certain it has saved me at least 50k over her lifetime. It's worth the peace of mind knowing I can car for her without worrying about financial hardship from things that come up. They've made insurance no nonsense, responsive and friendly.

I took Harry to vet in February concers on his health, It wasn’t a wellness visit, it said on receipt sick visit. They weren’t able to give him his vaccines so I needed to reschedule for vaccines. I brought this to the attention of the vet and she said spot could call and they would tell them first visit was sick visit. When I called after submitting the wellness receipt I spoke to a young lady, who I knew her English wasn’t very good and I knew she didn’t understand my concerns. My question was I was now paying for 2 vet visits even though one was wellness one was a sick call. But after putting me on hold for a few minutes she said there was nothing spot could do. Over a 725.00 vet bill I only got 200.00 back, that seems a bit crazy to me. Not happy with spots reimbursement policy at all.
