Customer service always helpful
Call centers are in the US and I feel the customer service has always been helpful. My issues have been resolved. Everyone is generally helpful. While my insurance has steadily gone up, they have found ways to help me reduce it when I can. It's taken care of my pet and the app and submitting has all been straightforward. I also appreciate the other benefits that come with it, though not every state can take advantage.

Poor communication
Currently i am very unhappy with their service. Coverage is great. But trying to get a claim covered after sending information 4x and speaking to multiple people, including supervisor, I still don't have this resolved. Every phone call I get told something different.

I have been with Petfirst/Metlife for many years. First off, the customer service is outstanding. If you call in, the representatives are helpful and kind. The communication about claims and what plan works best for you is wonderful. They don’t try to upsell you. The premiums are a little more expensive but I think it’s worth it for a quality product. Thanks to Petfirst/Metlife.

Scam insurance, very bad !!!
They say they cover one visit to the vet per year, some tests, and I was paying for this for three months and it didn't cover anything at all, even though my cat had several visits to the vet and I uploaded the documents and a few minutes later they canceled it and didn't cover anything. Then they said they would call me, but they never did. I called back and they told me it was being processed. Weeks went by and they never called. I ended up canceling because what I was really doing was giving away my money. Why pay for insurance if it doesn't cover what it says is included in the plan you pay for? It's just a scam. It only takes your money away. Money
