The claim was really easy to submit. They checked with our vet on medical history without having to intervene and we were paid out our claim in a matter of days!

They’re an amazing company
They’re an amazing company, my dogs are always well taken care of the only improvement as I wish they had more partnerships with vet clinics so that way you could just pay what you owe or they could just pay the vet directly and not add more steps. Outside of that, though they’re amazing.

Have used Spot for a number of years. Great company to work with. Quick, easy service. When I had to say goodbye to one of my dogs, we received condolences from one of their representatives and sent a card. That in itself shows they're just not an 'insurance' company, but one with heart.

Metlife tried to deny my claim making absurd assumptions
Metlife tried to deny my claim for my dog from a traumatic incident she had in 2020 where she hadn't had any issues since and no permanent damage to her eye, to a recently diagnosed genetic eye disease. My vet literally laughed out loud and said, this is the saddest most absurd denial i've ever seen. I did have to submit appeal and allegedly won, who knows but I got paid out for that visit. The the app is primitive. There's no clear way to tell if you've been paid or not. And some of my communication says it will be mailed to me yet.I hadn't received anything. I guess it's no different than human insurance.But I had high hopes for them.
