I called customer service twice. They were very nice & helpful. Able to answer all my questions. I start my puppy's pet insurance the day I picked him up in August & he had emergency surgery in November for intestinal obstruction. Fetch paid the 80% without any issues.

MetLife is a superior pet insurance
MetLife is a superior pet insurance. I have had two other highly rated pet insurances and they are far inferior. MetLife always approves my claims efficiently and w full reimbursement.

Terrible service by an even wort compnay
I’ve never dealt with a company that hides behind confusing, over-engineered wording the way this pet insurance provider does. Every claim feels like a homework assignment — pages of “legal-sounding” policy language that only they seem to understand, and somehow every sentence ends up meaning “not covered.” I signed up expecting clear support for my pet. Instead, it feels like they’ve designed their policies to be as vague and technical as possible, so they can deny anything they want. Whenever I ask for clarification, I get a copy-and-paste paragraph that explains nothing and contradicts their own previous messages. It’s like they speak a different language. The worst part? The reps sound friendly, but they always redirect you back to the same impossible-to-decipher policy wording. It leaves you feeling tricked — like you’re paying monthly just to be told “no” in 12 paragraphs. If you want transparency, honesty, or even basic clarity, this is not the company for you. Save yourself the frustration and choose an insurer that actually values your time, your money, and your pet’s wellbeing.

Currently getting a lawyer because they straight lied to me about a policy. Said a surgery would be completely covered and they only paid a very small portion. I had a worse policy for my other dog, and got her surgery almost completely covered. But this better policy, they won’t cover a very routine surgery. They refuse to let me hear the phone call, without a subpoena. Literal insurance fraud. I have lots of proof of their lies and inconsistency in their information, from multiple agents and managers. I highly recommend you get different insurance. Their claim process is slower than a turtle with 3 legs. Sometimes having to wait close to two months for a reimbursement.. complete garbage.

We have been using Healthy Paws since Nov 2020 for Cheddar. For 5 years! Here are my favorite things about this company: - Very clear in their policies - All you have to do is upload your invoice from your vet - They pay you in a few days time - They communicate well - Their staff are very helpful They were recommended to me from my vet, and I am so glad I went with them! We recently had to do a surgery for Cheddar to remove a cyst. I submitted my claim the next day and they reimbursed me 4 business days later! Thanks for taking such great care of my dog!

Straightforward Claim Process—Exactly as Expected
Submitting a claim with Pets Best was simple and straightforward. The only hiccup was logging in through the app - email validation didn’t always work, so I had to switch to Safari on my phone. Once I was in, the claim submission process was extremely easy. Processing took a little longer than I would’ve preferred, but based on the reviews I’d read beforehand, the timeline was exactly what I expected. Communication from Pets Best was clear throughout, and I always knew where my claim stood.
