Easy Claims! Hassle Free!

It’s so easy to file for claims. Pay out of my pocket first then file for the reimbursement for the Vet services . Go to the MetLife Pet Insurance App submit all the documents (take photo) and a few days later you get your money back.So simple !

Great company

I’m very grateful for the support and service I received from my pet health insurance. They were quick, fair, and efficient with every claim I submitted, and the reimbursement process was always smooth. When my cat became seriously ill, they handled everything with compassion and understanding. They even covered the cost of euthanasia when it became the only humane option. I highly recommend them for their reliability, fairness, and kindness.

Exam from past 6 months required, defeating the purpose...

They require an exam from the past 6 months, however I only take my cats for annual exams and the entire reason I wanted a new policy was for their upcoming annual exam. So unfortunately my applications had to be cancelled.

Pets Best WAS the number one pet…

Pets Best was the number one pet insurance option I could find when I signed up several years ago with my pack. Recently, their website completely crashed, blaming it on a Microsoft outage. Not only was the outage over in less than 24 hours, but according to "webDetector" NO SITES were being affected after the outage DUE TO THIS. Somehow Pets Best is STILL not completely back up and it's been well over a month. Since Pets Best web site and mobile app have been COMPLETELY down, I've been sending my PDF documents and my policy number and information JUST as I would through the app to the e mail provided to file a claim. Over 3 weeks later, without even receiving confirmation that my claims have been submitted, and now being close to 10k in debt on just ONE pet (I currently have 4 open policies with Pets Best totaling over $500 a month in premiums), and with no reimbursement relief coming in for our pups current medical condition, we were unable to proceed with further treatment options in not knowing where our financial stability lands with such delayed service coming from the recent events happening with Pets Best. I would like to thank Pets Best for their part in THE LOSS OF MY SERVICE DOG, who passed away peacefully in my arms. Had we of been insured our claims were even being PROCESSED, further treatment options would have been available for my beloved dog. Can't even access the in APP veterinary advice service. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?! Pets best has been at my side, protecting my pets for close to 5 years. I was let down in the WORST way imaginable by a company I trusted. My heart is shattered and my account is still empty. Can't use the App, Can't use the website. NO response to e-mails and on hold for over a hour, just to constantly be disconnected. I don't even have support to help me determine how to proceed now that my dog is DEAD! Do I cancel his policy with so many open claims? Do I wait? My premiums are sure as hell coming out of my account on time though. I don't even know how to process my life at this moment. Pets Best, I used to boast to EVERYONE about the importance of pet insurance and WHY they should choose ONLY YOU. Now, I HOPE EVERYONE STAYS FAR FAR AWAY!

Spot is the best

Without Spot, I do not know how we would be able to afford all the medication and tests needed for our furbaby’s diabetes. They are quick answer questions. It is easy to set up claims and there is a quick turnaround time. We will forever insure our pets because you never know.
