Have to call to cancel and they make it very difficult. They did not refund me on day of policy renewal even though I couldn’t reach them by phone day before since they didn’t answer. Pricing is very high, can get better coverage a lot of other places.

All around terrible
Terrible website, just automatically denies claims and says documents aren't enough when I've provided everything they ask. Total scam.

Trupanion saved my sweet girl Gracies life!
I obtained trupanion for the security of knowing my dog Gracie would be covered Incase of an accident,etc.never exspecting to us it, just relieved of worry,when several months into my insurance Gracie became gravely ill with parometra ,my vet wouldn't do the surgery without insurance of payment, within hours of being informed this was major surgery, wasn't going to be cheap and had to know they would be payed Trupanion without any question accepted the bill and paid it,this was a $2,500 claim ,they have restored my faith that there are still honest,caring company's as Trupanion,if you need to comfort in knowing your in good hands don't wait a second longer Sincerely,Gloria Campbell

Pets Best really came through!
I'd never considered Pet Insurance in the past... but when I received a layoff notification a friend suggested that not only should I find an insurance plan for myself, but I should consider protecting my cat as well. BEST. SUGGESTION. EVER. My vet's office had a Pet's Best advertisement on their app and I simply went for it... THANK THE STARS I DID!!! Just 4 months later we had an unexpected health situation which turned into multiple vet visits and procedures. Once we got through the initial scares, we filed the claims (this was super easy via their online portal!) and within a couple of weeks Pet's Best reviewed the claims, responded with what was / wasn't covered (a significant portion was indeed covered!), and disbursed directly to the bank account on file. This was such a relief during an already financially and emotionally stressful time. I'm happy to say our little furball is back to his usual antics and curling on my lap as I continue my job hunt!!

I didn’t have to look for an account number or anything. The young lady that answered the phone knew who I was because of the association with my phone number.
