Not Just Customer Service…but Genuine Kindness
I had several concerns today with my policy. I was so fortunate to have probably one of the kindest Customer Service Representatives that I have ever spoken with …Gerrone. He was very helpful, supportive, informative, and very kind and compassionate…while being professional. He was able to address all of my concerns and questions…giving me a feeling of relief and satisfaction in my insurance coverage for my little one. I hope this review reaches the proper person to show some type of recognition for Gerrone’s representation of Fetch…but also for the genuinely kindness he shown me today. Why we love Healthy Paws
We have had our Healthy Paws insurance for our dog, Jax, since he was a puppy and it always gave us a feeling of security knowing we had excellent coverage in case anything ever happened to the most important part of our lives. Almost ten years later we found ourselves facing Jax needing to have two hip surgeries over a short time span. He had excellent care and his surgeries were covered at 90% by Healthy Paws (based on the coverage plan we have). He is now going to have excellent rehabilitation to ensure he heals well and builds the muscles he needs to live a healthier and pain free life and Healthy Paws covered that as well. We were reimbursed quickly following our submission and it gave us such peace of mind. I would recommend Healthy Paws to every pet parent and will always have coverage for all my pets. Submitting claims is incredibly easy using the app and customer service is very responsive to questions.

Starting a new policy
We called to ask questions about the coverages on the policies for our dogs and Rebecca was very helpful and answered all our questions and even helped set up our payment date.

Not good policy (scammers)
My policy started on November 21. They told me my pet wasnt covered since that day in other words. I submitted a claim and that is what they told me. I know about law, etc. If a policy is paid it should start immediately after pay for it. There isnt waiting periods, etc. That is a lie. That is so wrong. Update: Read the answer they gave to me. Doesn’t make sense. If a insurance said that start on xy day then should cover that date. For that are the insurance. Insurance start the day u pay. As I said I know about laws and know how insurance works. I paid way before the November 21 but insurance started the 21. The period of 14 days doesnt make any difference. If I got Attended on the 21 and the insurance said 21 it should be COVERED. Wanna fight it in court? I have evidence it said started on the 21.

Customer service is terrible
Their claim processing is fine but their customer service is terrible. Twice I have reached out to them inquiring about very specific coverages on my policy and all we received were boiler plate answers to refer to our policy coverage paperwork. Duh! That’s why I reached out to them to explain what is covered and what isn’t. I’m not a lawyer and only asked for specifics before procedures were to be done. They answered both times to have the procedures done and then submit a claim to see if they provide coverage. Not professional is any way.

There is nobody that answers their phone. No online access. An absolute nightmare and I am sorry to have signed up with them and after less than a year I am leaving. There are many other choices for a pet insurance. I recommend that you find any other than this one.
