Very impressed.
I was impressed with how quickly I got a response when I first called. I was emailed promptly and when I had questions, I got answers almost immediately. I also found it easy to lock in the insurance and make my payment. I also thought the person I was dealing with was very nice. Thank you for making this experience stress free.

5-Star White-Glove Customer Service!
The agent I met with was super knowledgeable and reinstated/replicated the coverage I had in place for Sylvia before retiring Nov. 30, 2025. My Nationwide Pet coverage expired Dec 1 after retiring. Today’s experience was pain free; John was efficient and made the reinstatement seamless. Thank you.

Don't waste your money
Pets Best Insurance is a complete waste of money. No matter what I submitted, Pets Best Insurance always denied my claim stating that the issue was due to pre-existing conditions. The only pre-existing condition my dog has are allergies. I never submitted a claim for allergy treatment, but no matter what claim I did submit somehow Pets Best Insurance always tied it to allergies and refused my claim. My vet said this was unethical because the claims I submitted were not allergy-related. Pets Best Insurance also requested my dog's health history repeatedly despite the fact that their customer service phone reps twice verified they had it on file. When I finally appealed one denial with support from my vet, they sent my appeal to an "independent" veterinarian on their payroll for a second opinion. Of course the denial was upheld. Please don't waste your $75 to $250 a month. You will not receive above-board service, and they simply try to wear you down with their tactics for more information. Owning and caring for a pet is expensive to begin with; don't make it more so by wasting your money with Pet's Best Insurance.

The claims submission process is very straightforward. The customer reps have always provided exceptional service and answered all of my questions satisfactorily. The new app still needs some tweaking though as it still has a few bugs in it, but the customer service rep was aware and explained what I needed to do.

Dumbest policy ever....
I will keep writing bad reviews because of the stupid policies they have. My dog was taken off of another policy I paid for,for 5 years. When my ex and I split up we separated our dogs into two separate policies. She added her credit card to begin paying for "her" dog. Trupanion owed me a significant credit. They gave my credit to my ex on her credit card..... When I questioned it and pointed out thier mistake, they said it was thier policy to credit her card and not mine.... so again, I paid with my card for five years.... she newly adds her card and received my credit. They will not do anything about it. To them this makes sense..... I will keep writing bad reviews until my dog passes and I'm through with them or until they admit thier mistake and credit me back my money. They want me to reachout to them. They already made it perfectly clear they will not do anything about it. Why they want me to call them is beyond me. They will only support their stupidity and make me angrier then I already am.
