Metlife pet insurance is.there when you need them.

Our pets are a big part of your family. Anytime one of your family members is hurt you experience an overwhelming amount of emotional stress and fear. This can make even the most simple task challenging. This was the first time filing a claim. The process was easy to file a claim and the claim was resolved quickly. The staff was very friendly and showed true concern for your pets health as well as the owners emotional stress. I have never filed a claim in 10 years but so great full that metlife pet insurance was there when needed.

Would not recommend anyone get a policy…

Would not recommend anyone get a policy from here. They won’t pay your claims. They’ll start off paying the first claim then won’t pay anymore and give excuses. Just save a little money every month and you’ll get it back 100% when you have to take your pet in. They shouldn’t even be able to use the word “insurance” because it’s not. It’s a flat out lie.

Pets Worst Insurance

This company is a complete SCAM, they don’t answer the phone EVER, DON’T respond to emails after the first claim and deny EVERYTHING! Don’t bother falling for the bs advertising you see, it’s just that BS! They take you $ and tell you to read your EOB. Contact California Board of Insurance and NAPHIA to have them investigated so they can be shut down! They’re robbing people blind.

I should have read trustpilot before signing up

I should have read trustpilot before signing up. My biggest beef was that this company is impossible to reach! I had to call them to fix something on my policy. After many, many phone calls at various times during the day, I finally realized no one was ever going to answer. Each time you are told your call will be answered in 30 to 40 minutes, but at the end of 40 minutes the call disconnects. No customer service means a lot to me. There is 0 here.

The service representative that I talked to was very knowledgeable. She was able to guide me through everything very friendly. I did get disconnected from her and she called me back, which I thought was extremely nice.

My cat Lupin suddenly had an acute…

My cat Lupin suddenly had an acute urinary obstruction, which is a life threatening emergency. We first went to a vet urgent care and it took them 6 hours to unblock his obstruction. We then had to take him to a hospital for 36 hour monitoring, which is needed because the chance of reconstruction is highest in this period. Needless to say, this was all very unexpected. And VERY expensive. I am so grateful we had Healthy Paws for Lupin, and they were able to reimburse 80% of his urgent care and hospital cost. If you love your pet and want them to be with you for as long as possible, getting pet health insurance is a MUST. It's extremely worth investing in a good company for your pet as soon as possible, because if you have to switch later for whatever reason, pre-existing conditions will become an issue. I'm really grateful I chose Healthy Paws early on and they have been so helpful when emergencies like this happen.
