online tool doesn't work, horrible support
I created my home and auto quotes online, tried to buy the policy and got a generic "oops something went wrong" error on their site. Called them and they suggested to clear cache/cookies, and to try an incognito window. did all of those, none worked. Tried another browser, same problem. Called them 3 times for help. Nothing. Tried one more time and the agent said they have to escalate it to next level support which would take 14 days. FOURTEEN DAYS! I started this process two weeks before my policy renews at another provider thinking I'll have plenty of time...nope. So the agent says "ok, I suggest you look for coverage elsewhere" Wow. Is there any insurance company that doesn't suck?

Cannot Say Enough Good Things
Trupanion has been great since the moment we started with them! Their claims process is straightforward and reimbursement is a quick turnaround, their customer service is wonderful, and I can tell that they genuinely care about our pets. Insurance is something you hope you never need, but when you do, it can be a lifesaver...literally. One of our dogs had an ongoing autoimmune condition, and Trupanion made the difference between us struggling to make decisions and us being able to give our boy the best life possible. We lost him recently at the age of 13, but those years were filled with more happiness that we ever would have thought possible. Part of that reason is because Trupanion gave us the peace of mind that we needed to give him the best care. Our pets are family, and they should be treated as such. I can't imagine owning a pet without a safeguard, and I would definitely recommend Trupanion to anyone for that reason!

She helped to break down the confusing parts, answered my questions in the most gentle way, and reassured me that she was going to do her best to help me today. I highly recommend Fetch as well as it is the company I've been with for more than 2 years. They're always super sweet to talk to via phone!

This company is a scam. AVOID at all costs.
This company is a scam. I just realized that they have not paid a single claim since we signed up with them. They are claiming that every time we have to visit a vet its due to pre existing conditions, even though the vet says there's no indication of pre existing condition connection. And the appeal process is BS. there's been no follow up. We've been paying $167.57 per month for several years. What an absolute joke.

The best!!
So thankful for Trupanion! They are always willing to help answer any questions. I recently had a wrong diagnosis added to a claim by the vet causing an additional deductible. Trupanion was quick in requesting update records and working to get everything corrected!
