Terrible experience with this company . Would not pay on any claim . All they say on any claim is that it’s preexisting condition we are not covering claim . Do not use this company if you want good health care for your pet .

I tried multiple times to get back to my saved quote, but was not able to. When I contacted support via chat, I was told to call in so a rep could get me my original quote. I just decided to start over. I purchased the plan online for a reason.

Multiple claims
I have made numerous claims recently because past claims were never filed. Many have been paid; some denied; some toward the deductible and some still pending. I think that too much was applied to my deductible in 2024 and I submitted an email for clarification. That is still pending. I was out of town for many months and while I had the insurance premiums automatically charged to my checking account, no claims were filed. I worked with a number of representatives at Pets Best to get all the claims filed. It was a bit overwhelming, and they were very helpful. Many of the claims have been paid---denied----or applied to the deductible, but there are still a number pending. I have received emails that they have been received and are in process. Considering the circumstances, the overall response and assistance from Pets Best has been excellent.

This is our first policy with MetLife. We have found it very easy to understand the communications we have had with the company. (That’s not always the case with other companies!) So far, we understand all of the interactions we have had with the MetLife and feel that we are well covered and well informed. Looking forward to working together for the future!

Pet’s Worst Insurance!
This is the worst insurance! They don’t answer the.phone or respond to emails. I’m going to contact CA insurance board and NAPHIA! They tell you to read your EOB. And, say it’s a problem that occurred before your insurance went into effect. A blood test is not a symptom and they don’t contact your vet either.. This insurance is a complete scam!! Don’t fall for it. Look at other people’s complaints, it’s all the same thing!

Customer service is always very helpful. The monthly payment is reasonable and when I do put in a claim to get the claim approved is fairly quickly and definitely easy to do. I would recommend anyone to this linsurance.
