Terrible follow-up and pure lack of customer respect
I have been a long time pet policy holder at Nationwide. Apparently they changed the structure of their policies and although I agreed to the new terms, the policy renewal payment was not processed. I never received any notification of the lapse and when I discovered this, I contacted Nationwide to follow-up. They treated my pet as a new policy holder and had no consideration for me even though my second pet had coverage. BTW - their coverage is awful

Embrace is Bad business
My dogs were covered with Embrace not once but twice and the second time they were covered I filed a claim, and it was denied due to not having an ortho exam on file. When I took this plan on, I asked about the ortho exam and was told that it was not need since I once had a policy with them, so they denied my claim and replied to my oldest furry baby condition was preexisting and he in a holding pattern because of not having the ortho exam. I pay more for pet insurance then I do for my Medicare or to be lied too and never to get a return follow-up call as requested. Buyer beware My review stands as I stated. Got an email from Embrace that contradicts everything said in this reply. Which leaves me to have suspicions about business practices. I would never refer anyone to Embrace that care for their pet(s). Either way Embrace didn’t provide enough information so that I could make an informed decision.

I found similar coverage at a lower price. Love that! Also, the customer service has been phenomenal. I love speaking to an actual person. Stephanie helped me with so many questions while I was deciding to make a move. Quick responses and friendly service. Can’t beat that!! Thank you, Stephanie!

Their website literally does not work
I enrolled in a plan but ended up cancelling within a matter of days because their website literally does not work. I registered and created an account, but it then required me to enter a six-digit code because I was using a "new" device (even though it was the same device I used to create the account just minutes previously). It took 15 minutes for the code to arrive, and when I went to enter it, the website said it had already expired. So I tried again, and the same thing happened. I called and told them I was cancelling effective immediately. This is absolutely inexcusable incompetence. It's a shame that this organization is using (and sullying) the ASPCA name.
