The insurance is great
The insurance is great. Claims are processed in a decent amount of time. My only complaint is changing the website. The purple was nice and calming. The yellow just feels too much.

I’ve been with this insurance for over a year, only had one claim and it took months when they guaranteed only a couple weeks. Customer service tells you as little as possible so you have to call back once a week to get any information and hope you get a good representative that can answer questions. I also had problems with payments, and they tell me it’s a system error and I have an extension to pay it, but no one calls me back to set up payment days and then I receive a cancellation email, which was a breach of the extension. So so many problems with this insurance since being with them. Would not recommend ever and will actively be encouraging friends and family to stay far away from it.

This company is a joke
My dog had an MRI done to help diagnose her medical condition. The insurance is denying my claim saying it was a preexisting condition, yet I have letters from her vet that has treated her since she was 8 weeks old as well as the neurologist who performed the MRI starting that this specific condition can only be diagnosed with an MRI. So how they can consider it a preexisting condition before it was diagnosed is preposterous and unfounded. I have filed a claim with the Michigan Department of Insurance to help rectify my situation since I have been denied on multiple levels from Pets Best.
Worst insurance ever
Have had them for 5 years. Terrible customer service matched with an overly restrictive claims adjusters and an arduous appeals process. Blood suckers of a company.

Paws Above the Rest!
I’ve had different pet insurers over the years but kept switching because one thing or another didn’t agree with me. Spot is paws above them all. I did a lot of research when I decided to switch plans a few years ago and chose Spot after speaking with them. They had no problem covering my old timers, which is rare. In terms of policies, premiums, coverage and customer service, I’ve never been happier.

Healthy paws ER Visit
Healthy paws offers Airvet (a live vet that will video call with you. This was so helpful with Winston then we had him go to ER and he had Pancreatitis/IBD. I was stressed because the cost got over 8k fast. Healthy paws in a few days reimbursed a large portion. Healthy paws had our backs when we needed it unlike many insurance companies.
