I sent in a claim
I sent in claim. I was notified of missing info in atimely manner. I responded and now I am waiting for my approved coverage. My only improvement i can see would be a chat line to be able to ask specific questions. Like for example "is a Rabies shot covered under my plan."

Agent Rosie was so helpful and kind…
Agent Rosie was so helpful and kind throughout the entire process! It felt very easy to discuss my pet's needs and current health history with her. Rosie's explanation of the coverage and offers was very clear and helped me understand something that I have never done before. I was nervous to call at first, thinking it would be a hard process, but that nervousness went away as it was very simple, and I felt cared for and acknowledged that I made a good decision, so I know my pet is in good hands!

It is very convenient to have the Vet…
It is very convenient to have the Vet associate contact you as soon as the appointment is completed. The response from Trupanion is almost immediate. No paperwork required (on my part). Also, if I have an issue or question and I call in, the responder has always been friendly and knowledgeable

They get one star as that’s as los as…
They get one star as that’s as los as the scale goes. File a claim for my dog for an ear infection. Nothing happened “waiting for complete medical records. If he had another at infection it could be some remote disease they wouldn’t cover”. A diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian who need that we have an intake clown with a computer that will diagnose without ever seeing the dog. Don’t waste your money some clown with a computer will decide coverage not an actual diagnosis from a real veterinary doctor. They make United healthcare care see caring. Their reply contradicts what their employees tell you. They decide not a vetinarian . Their reply is standard corporate crap they want you to believe. They claim to treat you like family. They just don’t tell you it is a toxic disfunctional family.

My first and only claim was handled…
My first and only claim was handled quickly and efficiently last summer - this time it is taking over a week, so far, to even be reviewed, approved and paid. The customer service chat with Linda was ended before I was done asking my questions. Have not experienced this with Pumpkin and hope it’s an isolated incident.

Appreciation for Ms. Amanda Mello's Outstanding Customer Service
My husband and I want to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Ms. Amanda Mello. As we considered renewing our Fetch Pet Plan coverage for 2026, Ms. Mello’s expertise was instrumental in our decision-making. She provided prompt, informative responses via both phone and email and answered every question we had regarding the 2026 Fetch Pet Insurance Plans.
