Overall okay
I like how easy it is to submit a claim. But I received no sort of alerts or emails or information about the process of my claim (if it was approved, if it’s being worked on, how much I will be getting back, etc.) I have to constantly check the app if I want to know that information AND on top of that my insurance premium went up a few dollars this year without them even mentioning it to me which I do not appreciate at all.

Customizable Options, Confusing Claims
Spot offers a greatly customizable experience that is great for both of my two cats. I get exams, illness, and accidents covered for my older cat and illness and accidents covered for my younger cat. The amount I pay changes for them both based on the deductible I choose and what percentage of their visit is covered. The only issue I have with Spot is that their claims process isn’t clear. I might have an itemized bill and only want to claim what is covered by my insurance (for example, flea prevention is not covered) but there seems to be no way for me to indicate I am not claiming that which I feel affects the speed with which my claim is being processed.
