Peace of Mind
My dog suffered from renal dysplasia that was diagnosed when he was just 5 months. I will always be grateful to have had a policy with Pets Best as it allowed us to give him the very best of care throughout his short life without worrying about the cost. His prognosis when diagnosed was just 200-400 days. But because of the care I was able to give him he survived nearly 1000 days and had a wonderful life that was for the most part pain-free. I always tell everyone I know who gets a new pet to purchase a policy from Pets Best. Many tell me it's a waste of money and that they would never need to submit a claim. I tell them if they never submit a claim, they are lucky to have never needed it. But just looking at your dog, you would never know until it is too late. Pets Best always paid my claims cheerfully and without putting me through hoops. The times I called and talked to customer service I talked to empathetic, helpful, and courteous customer service agents. Despite that the amounts of my claims easily exceeded my annual premiums, Pets Best never increased my premium amounts.
Excellent Insurance Company and Policy
I am so glad to have signed up for ASPCA. It is so much like having health insurance for yourself, you can pick your deductible and reimbursement percentage and they have preventative options too. We originally had preventative but realized we didn’t use it much so we removed it and the process was easy, I also have the option to add it back on my renewal date if I choose to. The insurance is for accident/injury or illness, for the unexpected. There are a few things not covered like a torn ACL or pre-existing conditions, but for what I’ve needed it for it has been a huge blessing. My dog Willow has had a few smaller claims and one larger one. They all were approved as well as any estimates I submitted beforehand. I like the estimate feature as it can show you exactly what you would be covered for before a procedure was done in a non-emergency situation. I have used the estimate feature with more optional procedures and I ended up not needing those procedures (one was an endoscopy and the other was for gingivitis). We were able to use alternative medications like acupuncture that ASPCA covered and Willow was healed! She recently had sprained her front paw and was limping, we had already paid her deductible from another visit this year about gingivitis and the claim was paid quickly and accurately according to my plan of 90% reimbursement. I highly recommend the lower deductible and higher percentage return. I noticed some reviews stating their claims getting denied, I have had that happen but it was because I was either missing required information (like vet records) or because I had submitted an estimate shortly before the claim and some of the services overlapped the two making it seem like a duplicate. I easily corrected that by submitting the right documentation and/or resubmitting the claim with a clearer explanation. I have never had any issues with claims or payments. This is a company I will be using for a lifetime. They also offer discounts to members of certain groups like NSCS. We love ASPCA!
Why it's important
I have took their service they are very professional and highly skilled team. They are doing best for me. I highly recommended.
File a claim for pet
I thought the overall ease of filing a claim for our pet was simple and clear. The processing of claim was a bit long. Partially due I did not send in the pet's medical records with the claim. MetLife had to go back to vetenariam and request the files. That took an extra week. All in all it was a good claim processing and I did get some reimbursement.

Scam Pets Best really isn’t
Backtrack a couple years. My dog got a hematoma surgery. Then Applied Pets best got denied for this claim cause the incident happened before. Ok understood I get it. Fast track today he went in cause his ear had yeast and has bad allergies. We got denied again because the issue was from before? How so? I was paying for 2 years and this was developing months ago. They’ll find any excuse to deny you. Going to appeal but likely be cancelling today.

Ease of use
I at first was nervous about the process of doing this claim. however, after reviewing metlife site and discussing with a person, I proceeded forward. The process was pretty straight forward and easy to follow. make sure to have a scan copy or pic of your service. Make sure it was clear, and it has all the needed information. I have done all of this and that made it a easy process. I would recommend using Metlife insurance because they coverage isn't confusing and the claim process was easy to understand.

Stay away from this fraudulent organization!
I implore you to stay away!! This origination is horrible. I submitted several claims for a simple dental procedure and Pets Best found any possible way (all wrong) to deny my claim. They stated that my Vet did not include diagnosis information on the medical records, which was entirely inaccurate. I reviewed the medical records personally and the information they requested was literally right there, front and center. It is impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone or via email. Look elsewhere!!!!

Very Happy Customer!!!
MetLife pet insurance has been outstanding for our furry friends. The coverage is comprehensive while the reimbursement has been fair and equitable. Both the website and the mobile app are easy to use during the submission of claims, and support was extremely courteous and helpful when I have called for help. Resolution of claims typically has taken between two and three weeks which I feel is acceptable. Their explanation of benefits is thorough and easy to read. We have been very satisfied for the two plus years thus far.

No Problems
We’ve made a number of claims ranging from getting tests for hip dysplasia to an allergic from eating a bee to an eye infection and have had zero push back or issues. They’ve processed our claims quickly, too, which was a big surprise.
