Manipulating definition of 'PRE-EXISTING CONDITION"
I got this insurance because I needed help diagnosing my dog's eating problem. I went to 2 different vets for a diagnosis. When I submitted a claim for the second one, they wouldn't pay it because I had gone to the first vet for the same issue. Therefore, they called it a pre-existing condition. I thought such conditions were ones established before I got the insurance; also ones which had been diagnosed. I felt this was a sneaky way to avoid payment. Basically, for conditions which are not preventitive, they only reimburse you for one time your pet is treated for a specific reason, after you have paid the high deductible. This pretty much defeats the purpose of getting insurance, if you ask me. I will say the insurance was useful only for preventive treatment, which has no deductible. I'm not sure if that is also only a one-time reimbursement for things that are on-going, such as regular shots.

I have had multiple claims for my new puppy over the past year related to parasites and worms which he got from the wildlife in my yard! This company processed all his illness related invoices within days of receipt reimbursing me promptly. Couldn't be more pleased.

No coverage
Takes forever to get review and the result was always no coverage very disappointed I wouldn’t recommend this company try Wagmo and they are quick answer on claims within 24 hours

"Pets Best insurance has been a huge help for one of our dogs recently diagnosed with cancer. The claims are simple and easy to put in, the response time is pretty quick on the claim, and receiving the reimbursements now that we've met our deductible is a smooth process into our bank. I am so happy that we pay for pet insurance, specifically PetsBest. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet. It's a huge help when going through extremely tough and expensive situations with your furry family member. I am very grateful. I have not had to call or communicate with anyone yet for any concerns. Our dog has been with Healthy Paws insurance since 2019 and we are thrilled with their service. We used them first in California and now in Georgia. The customer service is fantastic and they process claims very quickly. Our dog recently needed a knee surgery and they have been amazing throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!
