Great Experience

Have had only amazing experiences at The Pet Hospital of Thousand Oaks. We have seen both Dr, Siegel & Dr. K a hand full of times. Staff is very personable & very helpful. I have felt like we've known them forever. Was recommended by a friend to go there and best choice. They notes were perfect for my insurance cliam and no questions were needed to complete

The inception of the policy was anything but smooth

This policy was supposedly a VIP policy for costco members. They could not correct the address. Two phone calls placed to customer service resulted in wait times for over 8 minutes each. Hold times for info another 10 plus minutes. Received several emails asking for records and a waiver that would cost money for an office visit. This is probably the worst member deal at Costco. I have cancelled this policy by day 5. The representative would not refund the $15 enrollment fee. I could only imagine how awful the service would be after the 30 day mark. Shop around.

First Time Filing a Claim

Picking and insurance was so overwhelming however I am glad we went with MetLife.....we have been paying for insurance almost a year with no incidents or illnesses and thinking maybe our coverage was a little over the top......until our baby (French Bulldog) out of nowhere started having seizures. I am so thankful that we got the insurance and Metlife was so easy to file the claim and communicate with us. It made a stressful time easier knowing we were covered and that Metlife honored their policy coverage and didn't try to do anything shady. Highly recommend.

Saved my boy’s life!

When my Roswell couldn’t breathe and had to be rushed to the emergency vet, I didn’t have to think twice about getting him the care he needed to stay alive thanks to Healthy Paws. Being able to focus on preparing for the best or worst possibilities and then thankfully recovery instead of worrying about costs lightened the emotional load so much. Follow-up care has been worry-free also, making it possible to deal with the many issues that came as a result of the original emergency. The care team provided the itemized invoices and making a claim took roughly 30 seconds. The Healthy Paws team values fast review and reimbursement and provides detailed reports of coverage within days. Very bad

My 5 year old staffy was dying of lymphoma, I put in a claim for all the test he needed, it took them a month to stop asking me for the same documents over and over, then my dog died, they denied my claim saying i didnt have that coverage, when I promise you, I did have it

Blessing's Knee Surgery

When I initially chose to enroll with Pets Best, I was uncertain about the extent to which the policy would cover a significant claim. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. My dog, Blessing, required an extensive and costly knee surgery. Despite the high expense, the procedure was necessary, so I decided to put the insurance to the test. To my relief, the claim process was smooth and efficient, and I was reimbursed for nearly the full amount, minus the applicable deductible and co-insurance. I encountered no issues throughout the process and found Pets Best to be reliable and responsive in a time of need.

Grateful Dog Parent Here!

My dog recently went through not one, but two TPLO surgeries, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Healthy Paws. From start to finish, they’ve been amazing. 🐕❤️ The reimbursement process couldn’t be easier... seriously. I just uploaded a photo of the vet receipt through their app, and boom, that was it. No complicated forms, no long wait times, no hassle. The app is super intuitive and user-friendly, which made a stressful time so much easier to manage. Most importantly, I felt like my dog was truly taken care of. Healthy Paws made it possible for me to give her the care she needed without worrying about the cost. Feedback on Pets Plus Us claim process

Our 1 1/2 old Cairn terrier somehow managed to swallow a large squeaker without our knowledge or observation (not on our premises). The resulting obstruction in the small intestine required emergency surgery from which he successfully recovered. The claim process through Pets Plus Us was smooth and simple, which I really appreciated at a stressful time. However, we were really thrilled when the whole claim was approved within 2 days of submission and the reimbursement was provided shortly after. Excellent responsive service.

Healthy Paws Review

I only wish Blue Cross Blue Shield and our dental insurer were as convenient as Healthy Paws. Submitting claims takes, literally, seconds. They are so responsive every step of the way. It's all just so easy and transparent -- why human insurers can't match Healthy Paws is beyond me! Thank you for running a great business, HP.
