Would not recommend

Had a very difficult time getting my claims processed and paid. My vet sent them records - they say they did not get them - Had vet send them again - they confirm they got them - then a week later when I call back again they tell me they still need more records. They never told me any of this. Would not recommend. Also was not aware that they have co-pays or co-insurance which they charge you for on every line item of your vet bill.

Very fast claim processing

I have had Pets Best for my last several dogs with varying levels of coverage. My current pet has mild IBD that is managed by frequent feedings and a very small dose of anti-nausea medication at night (so we can sleep through the night). The company that auto-ships the medication does not send invoices, but packing slips. So, to file a claim, I must first contact them to get invoices for every shipment. As a result, I procrastinate until the last minute. My most recent clam was filed just before my policy was to renew, so I was scrambling, and submitted the entire year at one time. I expected to get some push back, but was pleasantly surprised to find the claim processed and the payment in my account within 2 days.

Healthy Paws a must for pet owners!

The first time i decided to get pet insurance was when I rescued my best friend Semper Fi. He is now almost 5 years old and unfortunately has had a bunch of health problems, including an autoimmune disease. He not only sees his Vet but also a few different specialists Vets. Thank God that we decided to get pet insurance and Healthy Paws was a great deal and offered more than a lot of other companies. Healthy Paws has been there for us over the past few years. They make it simple to file a claim. To be honest I don't know what we would of done, and hate to think about it, if we didn't have Healthy Paws on our side. Semper Fi has racked up literally thousands of dollars in Vet bills. I thank Healthy Paws for being there and taking care of Semper Fi's medical bills. We highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who has a pet that they love, and want to continue loving.

Terrible

Would not recommend….okay good thing I can say is the claims they do pay they pay quickly. Their rates increase significantly EVERY year, their website/system is always down or updating but nothing ever improves. Their website is terrible. My dog went fore a wellness visit, was given medicine for an issue but because of this they didn’t pay out her wellness coverage. So what am I paying for???

Totally frustrating

They have canceled several claims and have not responded to the replies. They take more than a week to respond to an email, and after denying your claim, they string you along for days and then refuse to accept the re-claim.
