I am so thankful we have Pumpkin…

I am so thankful we have Pumpkin insurance for our puppy Golden Retriever. It seems like we are at the vet often for puppy-related things. There have been minor frustrations, but overall I am happy with Pumpkin, their reimbursement, and the generous coverage of many conditions. I will keep them for years to come.

Accident Insurance Helped My Old Friend

I downgraded to accident only coverage last year due to financial strain and I’m so glad I kept it! My dog is not a chewer and has never had tooth issues before. Well, he came up to me one day whimpering and I was shocked to find that one of his molars was broken nearly in half! When the vet put him under to remove it and clean the other teeth, they found two teeth that hadn't been broken by whatever trauma had occurred but instead were starting to rot and needed to come out before they made him sick. I knew Pets Best would cover the accidental tooth break so I didn't hesitate to bring him in for it. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have found out about the two bad teeth and he could have gotten really sick and miserable. Even though I paid for the dental cleaning and bad teeth myself, the fractured tooth was covered by Pets Best and took a huge amount of the financial burden off my shoulders. My dog has been my best friend for 12 years and not only was his painful broken tooth taken care of but being able to go in knowing the accident was covered helped me discover another unknown problem that is now resolved and giving him a much better quality of life in his remaining years. The claim was easy to file and I received my deposit in a few weeks. Highly recommend!

TOO LONG WAIT FOR REIMBURSEMENT

I have been using Pets Best for 7 years and have always been pleased with them until my recent claim. The communication in how my claim was going was processing was unsatisfactory. The time the claim took to be paid was unsatisfactory. The time it took their claims department to request medical records was unsatisfactory. However, I was eventually reimbursed.

Amazed at the efficiency by Spot in handling my two claims

This is my first experience submitting a claim for my dog, Teddy. I wasn't sure if Spot will cover most of my dog's medical bill because it was a good amount. Unfortunately, I had to take my dog to emergency twice which caused me to pay two separate bills. I was very pleased that Spot took and reviewed both my invoices and paid out a large percentage for both bills. I'm very appreciative and thankful, especially at a terrible time for my dog.

Ruperts quality of life 100% due to Embrace!

So far, my experience with Embrace and the claims process and timely response has been just terrific. Unfortunately, a few items are not covered such as Hyperbolic Oxygen Therapy post-surgery along with some minor meds like probiotics (which are trivial in cost anyway) but I suppose it's understandable as these items are not too costly and are technically subjective as to benefits. It is funny that chiropractic is covered though. Regardless, the major expenses have ALL been all covered subject to the deductible and co-insurance I chose, so no surprise there. Ruperts bills have been around $32,000 thus far and we're probably not done. So far, I've been on the hook for around +/- $5,000 or so out of pocket (including the HBOT therapy and probiotics). In my opinion that represents an extraordinary value for my premium dollar and more than exemplifies the purpose of having insurance in the first place. This is the second pet that I have had covered with Embrace and, unfortunately, in both cases coincidentally they both developed the same condition and my experience with Embrace has been outstanding for both.
