Not trustworthy. Do not consider it insurance, more just a discount plan. They never pay their full share, and usually delay any partial payments well beyond what is normal or customary. Not sure how I didn't read the reviews before getting into a policy.

The only problem I have with the insurance was they didn’t pay near what my bill was. My bill was for $301 and I only received 110. On a good note I received my refund in a matter of days.

Peace of mind
My puppies have been covered with Embrace Pet Insurance for 2 years now. I have been very happy with the reimbursement and policies for the insurance. When one of my pets swallowed something on a walk and was very very ill. Embrace was so great. I was reimbursed quickly and felt very happy with the decision to have Embrace Pet Insurance. And still do. The representatives are very kind and helpful. Having Embrace Pet Insurance is Peace of mind and is worth it and WONDERFUl!!!

Claims process for multiple pet policies is not very clear
Embrace generally seems to cover expected costs of wellness visits with the wellness "club" upgrade. I do find the claim process unclear and often a bit glitchy- the "diagnosis" button in particular often does not appear and you have to go back and forth through the screens in the claim uploading process to get it to reveal itself, which is annoying. I also am not clear if I can submit one claim for my two cats, who are always on the same invoice as I take them together for their annual wellness visits. Until this is clarified, I submit two separate claims, which is what the site seems to suggest is the fastest way to process. Wish that was clearer. Insurance is onerous to me in general- the vets used to process, now it's on the owners. Just grateful for future me that I can afford it with young cats so we can afford, with insurance help, anything that comes up as they age.

No Coverage, Money Stealing
Spot insurance does a fantastic job when it comes to hanging up over the phone. If your pet has any chronic disease or god forbid they get the same disease twice like periodontal disease. Know that it will not be covered, any cash you pay for a disease that happens more than once, even if it is a year apart, will not be covered. Also know that their service line does not help customers, they love to hang up if they feel that you are frustrated. Obviously when you get hung up on it makes a person feel way more frustrated. Go figure
