My cat was affected by a deadly disease, Feline Infectious Peritonitis. We had to do multiple vet visits, medications, ER visits. Working with met life has been a pleasant experience so far. Never had any issues with submitting a claim, straight forward communication and customer care representatives were very friendly.

Rapid claims determination
We have had Embrace Insurance now on 3 Bernese Mt. Dogs (since 2014-15). Over the years, they have markedly improved their claims determination and time it takes to get reimbursed. These days, I usually am notified within a week and often sooner. The reimbursement is directly deposited into my account. I have had another dog put on a different Plan which has not been as efficient. We do not do the Wellness benefits as we calculated for us that it would be 'a wash' as far as ROI. My wife and I have always had good luck talking to a live person when needed.

Lymphoma journey
Last year, my dog Sophie was diagnosed with canine multicentric lymphoma, which was an incredibly difficult and emotional experience. Fortunately, I had Spot Pet Insurance in place beforehand, and thanks to their coverage, I’ve been able to afford the chemotherapy and oncology care she needs. This has given us the precious gift of more time with her. I am deeply grateful for Spot Pet Insurance. The claims process has been simple and efficient, with reimbursements typically processed in under a week. I truly cannot overstate how essential this insurance has been for Sophie’s care and how thankful I am for the support they’ve provided throughout this journey. More headache than payout.
Got Fetch pet insurance for our new puppy, Generally a bad experience. Coverage amounts were frequently less than expected, and often required a lot of back and forth documentation to get even partial coverage. Most egregious situation was when our dog had a sore tail that he was biting at at 11 months old they refused to cover the vet assessment because he was noted to be scratching at his new collar on his first assessment, so it was a "preexisting condition". At the time I asked them not to renew when my policy ended. Then, when my policy ended, sure enough I got dinged for an annual renewal fee. Then when I called to get it reversed, they said they would only prorate me 11 months because I was already committed to continuing for at least another month. Ridiculous.

Impressed so far!
I am a new customer but so far I am very impressed with not only ease of use with their website but prompt reimbursement. I am a life long USAA member and Embrace is their preferred vendor so I am sure they will live up to USAA's high standards for customer service over the long haul.
