We have used MetLife insurance for both of our dogs and have had a good experience with them. They review and reimburse for claims, and respond to appeals, promptly and have a very user-friendly website.

Denial of eligible claims

There have been instances where eligible claims were denied and it was only because I called to query that I was told it was being “reviewed” by a machine, I assume AI. Because I called the claim was reviewed by an actual person and approved. It also takes several days sometimes 3 weeks before a claim is addressed. Neither of these occurrences is acceptable.

Clear and easy to use

It’s easy to submit my receipts and see where in the process my claim is. The policy it’s very easy to understand and see what is eligible for reimbursement and what isn’t. I am very happy with this plan and would recommend this to anyone looking for pet insurance.

We enrolled a month ago, and we cancelled our policy 3 days ago. Pls pls read the fine print. They don't reimburse 80% as they promised in the quote.
