Claim Response

This has been my first experience with Pet Insurance and FETCH has made it so very positive. No matter what type of claim I have submitted, I almost always hear a response in a turnaround time of 7 days or less. That is fantastic, considering how busy the world is these days. I am so pleased that my family choose this company to take care of our furry family members. :0)

Surgery Expenses

We recently had to have emergency surgery for our 6 yo little female dacshund for bladder stones. I filed the claim on a Monday after and had the checks in my bank in less than a week.

Super quick turnaround when the health history is clean

Finally took the plunge into pet insurance when my kitty became a senior this year, even though her health has been pristine her entire life. Glad I did! Random health issue popped up, and I got paid out in less than a week with her clean bill of health.

Do Not Buy

If you file claims with this insurance, your premiums go up. I got no notice and my auto payment was more than twice what it had been. There is a class action suit against them because they have no ceiling for how much they can raise your rates.. they are also obtuse as to what they cover, especially prescription medication.

MUCH more trouble than it's worth

I decided to try using pet insurance for my healthy dog. After paying 3 months of premiums at $62.97 per month plus a $12 enrollment fee, my dog got sick so I brought him to the vet. I made a claim for the $99 fee. As demanded by MetLife, I uploaded 12 months of SOAP records including the visit in question. I uploaded a 2-page invoice AND the receipt for payment. What a waste of time. First MetLife contacted my vet for the same documents I had already uploaded. Then MetLife claimed my invoice was obstructed. When I called and pointed out that I submitted a two-page document, first page a plain invoice and the second page the invoice with the receipt stapled to the top, the claim rep said that was not how it was submitted. I walked her through reviewing my submission. She still implied I had submitted two claims because THEIR SYSTEM had glitched and separated the two-page document I uploaded. I was frustrated with this person so I asked for a supervisor, was put on a 10 minute hold, then they came back and said the supervisor was not available. Later she accidentally admitted she had spoken to a supervisor. I decided to cancel. THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL ONLINE. You need to CALL, wait on hold, ask to cancel, then they send you an email with a form you have to complete. What a waste of my time, not to mention 3 months of premiums. Oh and by the way, when I asked, she told me the claim was denied anyways :-) DO NOT DO IT!
