A 4 year client
A 4 year client, I’ve submitted several claims for my Maltipoo. All have been quickly and efficiently processed to my complete satisfaction. A very good company to deal with.

Adoro violated their own 24 month look back policy
Adoro advertises “No confusion, no hoops to jump through, no second-guessing.” They also claim to have a 24-month look-back. My policy starts in April 2026, yet Adoro reached back to January 2024; this is 27 months prior, which is a direct violation of the 24-month look-back rule that they explicitly claim. They even included a note from 4 years ago as part of the reasoning behind another pre-existing label. They used that 2024 note to claim: “Since Cat has a history of weight loss, if a future condition is determined to be the cause of this weight loss, it may not be covered.” That is the definition of confusing, and it doesn’t follow logic. Even if this had not violated their own rules, they ignored the doctor’s notes from that same 2024 visit which explicitly state: "Wt loss R/O: due to changed to canned food" and "Needs dental badly." The cat had a dental less than a month later. By September 15, 2025, they had gained 10% body weight and they also had normal bloodwork (Healthcheck Plus NSF). Weight loss was resolved. If that wasn’t frustrating enough, they used a mention in the September 2025 notes that IF he were to lose weight again in the future, an ultrasound should be done. This is a proactive suggestion for a senior pet, IF they were to need it down the road, not a diagnosis. Flagging a resolved weight loss episode outside of their 24-month window is not “clear, predictable, and built to last” for the owner; it’s ensuring that they won’t have to cover anything. Adoro also used a routine dental suggestion on low-grade tartar in a senior pet, after the pet already had a dental in 2024, to insinuate that they "may" not cover a future dental accident. Illness and accident are not the same category. Saying you won’t cover dental accidents because a vet recommended a senior cat have a dental is like a doctor saying that deafness is the result of not having an annual ear cleaning. Happy to edit my review once they amend the evaluation, but it’s now been 2 days without even so much as a “hey we will get back to you shortly!” reply to my message disputing this error.

We were so worried about our dog
We were so worried about our dog. Thank God, we started this coverage when he was a puppy and kept it. It has taken a good deal with the stress away while we can still focus on our little guy and get him better. I have recommended Trupanion for the last 2 1/2 years to friends and family.

Except for the dental coverage I think…
Except for the dental coverage I think this is the best insurance for pets. Teeth cleaning under anesthesia should be considered a treatment. I was told my dogs tartar was pre existing..as a clinician this is humorous since every person or animal has tartar.

I had a really great experience with…
I had a really great experience with Spot Pet Insurance. My dog needed ACL surgery, and I expected the claims process to be stressful, but it turned out to be surprisingly simple. Submitting the claim, along with the required documents and vet details, was straightforward and easy to follow. What really stood out to me was their customer support. Every time I reached out, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring—they even asked about how my dog was doing, which meant a lot. The claim was reviewed and approved in about two weeks, which I found quite reasonable. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend Spot Pet Insurance to other pet owners.
