Fast easy to file a claim. Got every penny of my claim. Loved how easy it was. Make me egar to take my baby to the vet. Never had pet insurance before I would recomend everyone to get insurance on there pet , you want mind taking the pets for there check ups. Thanks again for a fast great easy claim service process. MetLife has gone crazy finding ANY excuse to withhold coverage due to "pre existing condition". In the case of my dog Sunshine's allergies, coverage was denied because in the past we tried to see if Sunshine's paw licking was due to allergies. We tried treatment, it did nothing, which RULED OUT allergies. MetLife examiners used this as an excuse to claim "pre existing condition" and refuse coverage. MetLife's insurance is coming dangerously close to being useless, and just a constant battle for coverage. MetLife also claims they cover prescription dog foods; which is likely true, but only if your dog has been found to need said prescription food ONLY if the special food needs are discovered AFTER the start of the insurance coverage, AND the two week "waiting period". There is FAR more emphasis in denying coverage than providing it.

I did a comparison of the 10 Best pet insurance plans to find out which pet insurance will actually protect my 2-month-old puppy who is currently 18 weeks old. I chose Pumpkin pet insurance because Ms. Charlene Oliver provided me with her photo, CA license number and the direct website and instructions for me to verify that this is a legitimate business. I chose and paid for the annual Puppy Wellness Plan and the Accident/Illness Plan. My puppy has received all the puppy vaccines by April 18, 2026. The Pumpkin Pet Insurance website was very easy for me to submit the three (3) veterinary claims and between May 3 to 7, 2025, I received payments for all (3) invoices. After May 22, 2026, I'm going to enroll my older dog in Pumpkin Pet Insurance. I was unable to cancel the current pet insurance for my older dog even though they terminated the contract 03/30/2026.
