Unrealistic for Fetch to expect me to use the Fetch pharmacy to get 100% reimbursement when this was an ER visit and my dog was in so much pain he couldn’t even lie down.

Horrible experience
Do not get pet insurance through MetLife. They denied a claim for our dogs surgery stating a pre existing condition even though the vet who did the surgery wrote a letter for us stating that it was not a preexisting condition. Take your money literally anywhere else.

Trupanion is an unethical company
Trupanion is an unethical company. Full stop. I've been a policyholder for over 10 years. They denied a completely legitimate allergic reaction treatment saying my dog had an allergy over a decade ago. The issues are not related at all. Avoid this company and find a reputable pet insurer that honors policy terms.

Reimbursement
Late April my little Morkie had to have an emergency Enucleation (removal of eye). As daunting as this experience was, dealing with the insurance company ie Pumpkin was easy and came with a big surprise. Upon uploading all the required documents into the portal, my case was fast tracked, approved on the spot and the funds were in my account available to me within 20 minutes! Amazing and kudos to Pumpkin for eliminating financial strain during a time of worry .

I received a denial letter today citing…
I received a denial letter today citing issues that my dog does not actually have. Vet indicated a week ago my dog has no heart murmurs yet a heart murmur is stated as being preexisting. Periodontal disease is listed as being preexisting yet on the same day vet indicated healthy gums and no sign of disease(teeth have not been cleaned) and noted in her chart teeth are in excellent condition. Foreleg lameness is stated vet confirmed that is not the case and no prior record of limping, no idea where this is coming from. Gastroenteritis.. no idea in this one and vet stated it’s nowhere in her records. She is also overweight according to Nationwide, vet stated specifically in her record that breed cannot be confirmed thus they are unable to determine. It’s as if they combined another pets file with my dog just so they could deny the claim. Watch out for this company they will take your premiums and leave you with vet bills.
