Our experience was not positive. The place we got our puppy from pushed this insurance. The gimmick is free for 30 days but they literally deny everything and had a huge deductible. Our puppy had kennel cough, a drug resistant version of hook worms thay too many repeat visits and medicine. Not covered or the little they said they would cover fell far below $500 deductible. I knew there would be a catch so I wasn't surprised and had a hunch. I am better off saving my $110 or more a month in a savings account and it in the event of an emergency for my now healthy puppy. So yeah we didn't renew to just find out there is another gimmick.

I have been going through a lot with my dog and I am so glad I chose Spot insurance as my coverage. You guys are quick & fare when filling claims & getting reimbursed in certain situations. Wish I would of gotten coverage in the past on my other dogs. You guys are also decently priced to where it is affordable if you pick & choose what you really need to be covered.

Healthy paws insurance has been our saving grace
Healthy paws insurance has been our best investment yet! We have had a rough couple weeks with our pup with some unexpected emergencies. Our insurance has been our saving grace. I have been able to provide my pet with the very expensive care he needs because I know that our insurance will help us take care or him. Their quick turn around is outstanding! I truly refer everyone I know with a pet to healthy paws insurance!

I just want to say thank to Healthy Paws Pet insurance . I have been with Health Paws for many years I have made many claims but never anything I would call big until this year when Jaxx’s was diagnosed with cancer. Without insurance we would not have been able to afford treatment and he would already be gone but because we have great insurance with Healthy Paws Jaxx’s is still here and is have more good days . I have had ASPCA insurance since 2019…
I have had ASPCA insurance since 2019 with my first dog and 2 dogs since 2020. Both insured as puppies. Neither have chronic medical conditions. I filed 2 claims. 1 ear infection and a skin condition. Since 2024 my cost for both went from $90 per month to $210. More than double. I was told this is due to age increase and increases can go from 4-26%. Well the math isn’t mathing. Beware that your rates will increase to a ridiculous amount despite your pets being healthy. I am insured 10k 90% reimbursement. I don’t even pay this much for my car insurance. It makes no sense.

Claim settled with no hassle
I submitted 3 receipts, one from my regular vet and two from the surgeon who performed my dog’s specialist consultation & pre-op & biopsy (benign!!) I waited for the biopsy results (would she need further treatment?) before submitting the claim online. I immediately got a response that my claims had been received. Within a week I received 3 payment checks. So simple and no back and forth needing more info from me or my vets. Thank you Healthy Paws for making the process so easy :)

Cannot Say Enough Good Things
Trupanion has been great since the moment we started with them! Their claims process is straightforward and reimbursement is a quick turnaround, their customer service is wonderful, and I can tell that they genuinely care about our pets. Insurance is something you hope you never need, but when you do, it can be a lifesaver...literally. One of our dogs had an ongoing autoimmune condition, and Trupanion made the difference between us struggling to make decisions and us being able to give our boy the best life possible. We lost him recently at the age of 13, but those years were filled with more happiness that we ever would have thought possible. Part of that reason is because Trupanion gave us the peace of mind that we needed to give him the best care. Our pets are family, and they should be treated as such. I can't imagine owning a pet without a safeguard, and I would definitely recommend Trupanion to anyone for that reason!
