The claim process was easy, and I had no problems with Pets Best. I haven’t used other service providers before, but Pets Best was definitely what I was hoping for..
Easy and affordable
MetLife was extremely easy to navigate and very straightforward about what was covered and what was not. I felt very overwhelmed on the other sites that I was looking at. MetLife made it very easy and affordable to get my sweet baby insured. Meow MetLife!!

Harrison’s Story
"In 2024, My then 5 year old rescue pit, Harrison, became acutely ill To the point our primary vet had us rush him to the emergency vet. After a few days there and unresponsive to treatment Harrison had to be transferred to a specialty hospital. Harrison spent over a month in the hospital throughout this whole course. He needed a feeding tube, biopsies, meds, fluids, labs, you name it. Harrison is now 6 years old and thriving. I cannot express how grateful I am to Pets Best for allowing me to have more time with my best friend. The filing process was quick and easy. I was reimbursed anything I was owed. I now encourage every pet parent I meet to get pet insurance and always recommend Pets Best. "
Paxton's Story
Unfortunately my 5 year old goldendoodle tore both of his hind leg ACL within two months of each other. I was worried that Pets Best wouldn't cover the second one but they have. There have been no questions asked and reimbursements have come within a few days of filing the multiple claims. I recommend Pets Best and Timberland Veterinary Hospital to anyone who asks. We received our refund quickly and direct deposited into the account. They made it easy to submit claims and upload medical records and invoices. They updated me during the process so I knew what stage we were in. I recommend fetch I have been with them for over 10 years when they company was called petplan. Thanks for having our backs yet again!! For people who will go broke saving their pets (like me) pet insurance is super important!

Not happy with PetsBest
I chose PetsBest based on other reviews I read & Reddit threads saying they processed things quickly and were a good company. I am not happy so far--my first issue is technology. I had to reset my password, and when I clicked the reset link in my email, I got some message that the token was already used (it wasn't). There was absolutely no way to reset my password at that point, meaning I had to get in touch with the company. There is no way to email them, and the chat on their website said nobody was available/I had to call. When I called, I was on hold for an ungodly amount of time and never even reached a person. Eventually, I found my password and finally logged in- but what would have happened if I never found it??? Second, in regards to claims, they take SO LONG to process. Reviews & threads said that they were fast, but that was obviously not true. I get emails apologizing for the delay and it just takes far too long to get things processed. I am not really happy with my experience so far and am grateful I only paid quarterly and that my dog is still young enough so I can switch companies. I do not recommend Pets Best.
