We have had Pet Plus US for 11 years now with our cat then when we got our dog we added her. The customer service is amazing, always able to speak to someone when you call and the are very helpful. The claims are very easy to file if need be and minimal amount of paperwork. we highly recommend pet insurance for any of your furry friends and obviously with Pet Plus Us! 5 stars for sure

Insurance works!
I've had this insurance for my dog for about a year now. So far, it has covered 2 annual exams and one emergency visit. Submitting a claim is easy but must be done on your phone (so if you're not technically savvy it may present challenges). Payment is quick and directly to my attached bank account so no waiting around for checks to deposit. On top of that, they cover my veterinary clinic, which I love, so all the better. Definitely worth checking into if you have pets.
First Claim Processed - Easy and Fast
I had another insurance previous to this and this claim was easy to process and easy to get reimbursment. Must better experience.

Easy to resolve a mixup …
We have been to multiple specialists over the past 2 years with our Lab mix for different issues. We have not had one claim denied or questioned. That has been true since our first Lab in 2011! Most recently there was a mixup with an invoice that ended up being a duplicate claim and we were being reimbursed twice. I called Embrace as soon as I received an email saying the bill was being covered again. I wanted to be honest with them about it and Sarah was able to look into it and figure out what needed to be done right away. Submitting claims through their app has made the whole process so easy. I tell everyone that pet insurance is important to sign up for as soon as they get a dog. Of course, I recommend Embrace to them and a number of friends have done so!

They reneged on what they agreed to pay for
Update: Just read their response. Wow. I sincerely hope that the people who read their response know PR tripe when they hear it. Bottom line - this is a prescription diet - P R E S C R I B E D by the licensed veterinarian of many years in a reputable veterinary practice. Bottom line - the verdict is the same. What I get is patronizing, repetitive air garbage that is nothing more than a prescribed (pun intended) response on a computer screen would dictate. We will be canceling and moving to a different insurance company, knowing, of course, that my fuzzy grandchild's condition will not be covered by the new company, as it is now a pre-existing condition. So Trupanion has screwed us over in THAT regard, as well. ************************************************************ The company agreed to pay their portion of my cat's diagnosis. We had tried multiple medicines (treatments), to no avail. The vet then PRESCRIBED prescription only diet. It took a bit, but whatever is in this food, treated her condition. The policy covers food for only 90 days; but, it's the only thing we've tried that treats her condition. Even tried going back to otc food, for sensitive digestion, but the diarrhea started up again. They refuse to negotiate. Ultimately, they are refusing to fulfill their obligation to pay their portion for her treatment. Who cares if it's in the form of food. It works. Nothing else did that we tried, medicines. You can't get to anyone that will talk as a human being and not some brainless robot. The food is a prescription. Period, that treats her IBS. Typical insurance practice.
