Great experience with Figo so far
Great experience with Figo so far. We just Signed up and had our first puppy wellness check, filed our claim, got it approved within a couple of hours and the reimbursement was in its way. Very impressed so far!

It took about a month to process my first claim, which seems like a long time. It also took an hour of being in hold to speak with anyone. Customer service was very helpful. I cannot open the document which breaks down explanation of what they covered, but it did cover most of my claim.

No Contact for Follow-Up & Questionable Calculations
No contact for questions. The refund took 2 weeks longer than the plan described, which is less of an issue. My problem is that there is no clear way to contact/follow-up. Normally, with pet or human insurance, the deductible is subrtracted from the total, then the co-insurance is calculated. In my claim, FetchPet calculated the co-insurance from the overall total, then subtracted the deductible. This resulted in me receiving ~$205 instead of ~$264. I understand their goal is to minimize how much I am re-imbursed, but I've never seen insurance calculated like this before - I work in healthcare.

Very slow in paying claims
Their premiums have been reasonable and it’s easy to file claims on their app and they have paid all our claims in the 4 yrs we’ve had this insurance (minus deductible of course) for our boy with a liver condition. BUT they take 4+ weeks to pay, even with direct deposit.

I just love the way Embrace handles a claim ASAP. I cannot be more happier … It is such a relief knowing that I have pet insurance to cover my dogs expenses!.. after researching with other pet insurances, Embrace, at the best prices, and covered more than other insurances did I am very pleased!
