Be very careful when you get this insurance one year ago they raise my price $100 which brought it to $333 for three dogs. I thought well that’s not bad. They’re getting older now! Here we are another year later they raised it to $753, that is half of my mortgage I have been with them since my dogs were puppies. They raise the price because of their age and things are starting to happen very dishonest. It should be illegal to raise the monthly payments that much.

Lab Mix Toby
My Lab mix developed an unusual and, they say, somewhat rare, cyst under one of his eyes. It required specialist visits, CT Scans and eventually a trip to the Auburn AL oncology department for surgery. He is well now and thanks to pets best I did not have to be concerned about the cost to take the best care of my sweet boy. They have paid per my policy everything without a moment of hesitation. and, each time I spoke with someone about the treatment or the claims submitted I had someone knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I had nothing but similar experiences with my other lab mix Gracie, a broken tooth required dental work which again was paid for without question. I'm not much of one to carry a lot of insurance coverage but I'm so glad I've done this for myself and my pups. And couldn't be happier with Pets Best.

Absolute terrible so far
Absolute terrible so far. Bad communication on their part I have to do their job for them and to top it off denied the claim over some bs. Definitely taking legal action! unacceptable! I will cancel my policy as soon as I let the adjuster know what’s on my mind. Definitely go with another insurance provider. I had to take my pup to emergency. He got diagnosed with terminal heart issue 3-9 months and he be gone. Charges $3000 of vet bills. And empower said he had the condition prior I took him because he didn’t eat his food two days before that’s how they denied the claim. Because two days before the two week waiting period wasn’t up yet. Just some bs excuse not to pay premium. Plus on-top of that I had to get all the records because they couldn’t. I did it in. 30 min. It took them 30 days to tell me they couldn’t get them. And I had to call them because empower never called me to let me know they wasn’t able to get them. This company is absolutely ridiculous. When I need them to be there they denied the claim. After getting such terrible news they did that to me. So hell with empower. So if someone reads this review look for elsewhere to insure your pet. This company is a total joke.
