They are charging fair amount but for last four years i never submitted a claim and paid them almost $70/month . My pet hospital bill was 400 or 500 something they said they can give me $37. So think just before you enroll and if your pet is so sick then only go for insurance otherwise just keep $10-30 for them every month and spend it

Pets Best has been an amazing partner in ensuring my best friend got the absolute best care possible. I wouldn't have been able to afford his very expensive surgery and diagnostics without their help. Getting pet insurance was the best decision I ever made.

Overall great but have suggestions on wellness plan
I bought the Pets Best illness plan ($250 deductible + 90% reimbursement) and this company offered the lowest price compared with others. The reimbursement speed varied but all my cases have been solved so far without any problems. I read their policy, the insurance fee will remain the same once you buy it no matter how often you use it per year. I have a high-maintenance dog who needs to go to the hospital a couple of times per year so their policy reduces my concern. The only suggestion I have is for their wellness plan. I feel like it can be more flexible. For example, when the dog is old enough, the rabies often expires after 3 years, but if I bought the wellness plan, I cannot exchange the rabies category with any other vaccines, which is a waste of money I think. If they can have a more flexible plan, that will be even better.

Be patient
Have been a Pet's Best policyholder for 2 years and have filed a few claims. The submission is easy. Their communication is very timely and if additional information is needed it is to settle the claim to your advantage. Some of the other reviews I have read other reviews, noted the time the claim is submitted and the payment may be 4-6 weeks caused some dismay, however, they tell you upfront the time frame and want to settle the right way. Excellent company, BE PATIENT!!

They paid for everything they said they would.
They paid for everything they said they would, and didn't suddenly discover some fine print re-interpretation that meant they didn't have to pay, they just paid the claim and it was paid within days of submission. I had questions for a customer service rep and I got through almost immediately. To a human. Who walked me through what I needed with clear instructions. Worth. Every. Penny.
