The confirmation of receipt of a claim is very prompt (usually within two days) and reimbursement is usually within five business days if the claim submitted by the claimant is complete! MUCH improved service than in the past! No "hidden agendas". Their reimbursement guidelines are straight forward and easy to to understand and Customer Service is always happy to answer any questions. We have been with them for 13 years. We are very pleased with Met Life Pet Insurance.

I was disappointed with my experience. After receiving a $1,300 veterinary bill, my coverage only reimbursed approximately $25, which fell far below my expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service. I found that paying out-of-pocket directly through my veterinarian was more cost-effective, as they offered very reasonable pricing.
