We had TERRIBLE experiences with one of our babies and PetPlan and it took us some time to find the most suitable insurance for both our pups... then I got to speaking with Trupanion. I had my homework and checklist ready, spoke to 4 other firms to compare and TRUPANION checked all the boxes, didn't try to hide any information, they take their time and repeat themselves until they know you 'get it' and this is the most suitable insurance with the best coverage options for us. We went with them 3 yrs ago and I'm thrilled to report that they have kept to exactly what they claim,.unlike OTHER firms we have experienced - Trupanion is the real deal... We highly recommend them.. At least call and listen to their offers, they will make it work for you..you have nothing to lose and tons to gain..

I’m so disappointed
I’m so disappointed. They start you off at a low monthly rate and every year they go up a ridiculous amount. The problem is, no pet insurance covers pre existing conditions. So they keep going up on the price year after year knowing that if you ever decided to move, any pre existing conditions your pet had will not be covered. You’re basically cornered. You have no where to go. Absolutely awful and criminal practice. I started at $70 a month and 4 years later I’m approaching almost $200. In another 5 years I’ll be closer to the $400 mark. I would never do this again. Self insure people!

Totally awesome company, My fur baby was very sick with pancreatitis and when I took her to the veterinary clinic, it was a total relief not to worry about the cost, I just told them do what needs to be done. I sent them a photo of the bill and in a few days I was reimbursed my 90%, it cost me. 100.00
