It is very disappointing that #1 I was a loyal customer with Nationwide pet insurance and told many per owners about it to sign up for there top insurance plan for over 10+ years which was a bit pricey but it had great coverage. I hardly used it but for a piece of mind I had it. Fast forward to this year when I actually need it for my dog, I tell the vet to do whatever you need to to keep my dog alive and I check my pet insurance plan and my insurance says it is valid to 2026, but then it says inactive. So I was confused because I had it on auto pay for years now ok my same credit card. First they changed my policy without me knowing to 50% coverage instead of 90% coverage which I had for over 10 years and second they are blaming me for changing my payment method and it didn't go through because of a glitch. Now they are making me back pay and not covering what I signed up for because they said it changed. BUT when did I change it?! And I have auto pay for the top insurance plan for my dogs. Now in stuck with a $11k vet bill that isn't going to be covered as what supposed to when I signed up for this plan 13 years ago. Had I know they would of done this without me knowing they scammed me for the last 10+ years and now when I need it the coverage is so bad. I should of gone to a different pet insurance plan. Now I'm financially hurting after investing so much money into this insurance policy for my dogs. The agent cares about just collecting my back pay when it was there mistake. And doesn't even care about my suffering dog . Then I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor or someone to talk about this and she transfer me to some telemarketing number that is asking me about Medicare and my age?! This is really unfortunate I paid thousands of dollars for insurance from all of my pets and when I need it the most they don't cover much. I should of done what my other friends done. I'm waiting for someone to contact me. This is just not right.

The World Needs More People Like KARLEY GULASH
I have been overwhelmed with trying to pick a pet insurance plan for my service dog whom I have just been matched with. It's so complicated, I have been looking at plans for almost a month. I had phoned several other popular companies but none of them offered a discount for Accredited Service Dogs. I then called FETCH PET INSURANCE and not only do they offer a discount for accredited service dogs, but I got the sweetest agent I've probably ever talked to, Karley Gulash. For some of us with PTSD, even making a phone call is difficult. Karley made it so easy. She had endless patience, took interest in my new dog, was so personable and kind. My cell service is bad so our call dropped twice and she called me back then waited until I solved the issue. She spent a lot of her time with me and I never for one moment felt pressured, upsold or hurried. Accident insurance began today, one day after the policy was begun. Illness etc has only a 15 day wait. Karley Gulash deserves a raise! She was just super and I wish there were more people in the insurance industry with her talent, understanding and knowledge of what FETCH has to offer. Outstanding.

Highly recommend MetLife for ease of use and prompt service
I appreciate how the MetLife app is so easy to use to process claims. It really only takes a few seconds to file a claim, and MetLife processes claims so quickly - within a couple days! I also appreciate the regular status updates via email and like that I can always check the status in the app if necessary. But really claims are processed so quickly that I never need to keep checking on the status in the app. I also did contact support one time for an issue with a claim and I received amazing support from an individual that advised how to correct the issue. It turned out the error was on my end with not sending the sufficient documentation! MetLife is on top of everything, and we've been extremely pleased with the service we've received for our two pups this past year. This is the first year we've had pet insurance and it's been a great experience and we highly recommend MetLife for their user experience and service. Thank you!

Fees increased more than 1,000% during dog's life
I started paying $50 per month for my dog and they methodically increased it every year. When it got to $250 a month we cut the coverage level in order to still afford some sort of coverage. Last month, they increased the rate from $140 to $400 per month. CRIMINAL! Don't fall for it. They exist to profit as much as possible off of you, not to help your pet.

A support team you can count on
We have had some recent health issues with our GSD boy, and it has caused us some concern with the cost of veterinary treatment and diagnostics. On 3 separate occasions now, we have had to place a claim for reimbursement for vet care received, and every time Healthy Paws was there supporting us through each event. It breaks our heart when we see our animal in distress and then have to question what we can afford to do and what we can't.
