Rising Premiums but So Far Good Coverage
I was incredibly frustrated recently due to seeing my premium rise in cost in rapid succession, especially after moving to Ft Lauderdale. I never thought my pet insurance would reach car payment status, and I’ve been a loyal customer since 2017. I want to love TRUPANION and they recently did pay a good portion of my last vet bill, but I honestly have no other insurance company to compare it to, and I think all pet owners would pretty much do anything for their pets. I believe the real reason of rising premiums is the amount of people that have recently become pet owners due to Covid, and they’re taking advantage because they know people have no choice but to have the insurance, and if that’s the case, why not boost the price while we’re at it because we have to pay more people to process your insurance money.
With all that being said, TRUPANION is by far one of the easiest companies to work with, the least hassle I’ve ever had with claims processing and responses from any company, and they have covered a good portion of my claim requests considering my pet has chronic ear infections and bad allergies. I would definitely recommend TRUPANION due to the coverage, but I’d definitely make sure it fits your budget, because they don’t tell you when they’re raising the cost of your premiums, they just do it!

The importance of having insurance
Your pet is your special best friend ! And you want him to be in good health but sometimes they get sick/accident and you don't know what it's wrong so you take your little friend to the Vétérinaire !
So, the costs for the exams and x-rays and so on, can be very expensive!
That's when the time to get insurance for your little puppy and I tell you by experience that "you should " for the inconditionnel love of him or her!! Now, I would like to thank the team from my 'hôpital Vétérinaire Trifluvien' , you're amazing people with courtesy, humanity and professionalism ! ! Thanks for taking very good care of my two babies Doodles Matthew and Janis ! !
And I can't forget my insurance "Trupanion" for being so understandable, you're such an important issue when something was or is wrong with my two little friends!!
So I highly recommend that whoever is reading this and have pets, get insured for the love of them!!

I’m impressed
Submitted a claim for an emergency clinic visit for our 8 month old puppy, which was pretty concerning and traumatic. Claim submitted with all documentation on monday, and was processed and paid by direct deposit on Friday. Impressive service. Thanks.

Ease of claim
I always thought that insurance was not necessary for my dog but still went on the internet to get a quote and compare different insurances available, while doing the research I found petsplusus to be the one that was best for my pet. Within a couple of getting insurance my fur baby was attacked viciously by a big door and had her whole jaw open. I have never been more grateful that I did the right thing. After getting her surgery, I put in the claim and within a couple of days my claim was reimbursed without any delay or any questions. I am happy that I went with the best and would definitely recommend every pet owner the importance of having insurance for their baby and also to go with perplusus.

Metlife Partners in Caring for Pets
My experiences with MetLife in terms of both claim payment and of customer care are commendable! I felt that the capable and relatable team members like Jana have the best interests of my pets and myself at heart. The claims process is convenient and timely. Also, after the review., The communication is excellent. I am grateful and confident with MetLife, after having tried to other pet insurance companies. It wasn’t that I had problems with my previous comp, but that Metlife offered a family policy. When we satisfy our deductible, it applies to my two other pets visits. This is greatly appreciated. That life focuses on my Pets interests!

Great insurance provider !!
Trupanion is absolutely the BEST pet insurance !
My dog is diabetic and they cover 90% of his meds and special treatments and veterinary services . Sometimes, most times , they text me what they’ve covered and how much , before I even leave the parking lot ! I appreciate their promptness and courtesy !!! Great pet insurance !

Reptile Insurance
The review form did not allow me to select reptiles as the pet. I had to select a dog/cat so this review is not about a dog, but reptiles. We have MetLife Pet Insurance for our savannah monitor and Chinese water dragon. MetLife Pet Insurance is incredibly easy to use and quick to reimburse. They are helpful when I needed guidance when starting the insurance. We have made multiple claims, all of which have gone smoothly. I highly recommend them.

Hassle free coverage
Had to euthanize our beloved girl recently. Last few months of her life she had been injured by botched biopsy surgery then developed an abdominal bleed from Cancer. All of the vet bills plus all her medicines were submitted and reviewed efficiently , easily, and quickly. Highly recommend MetLife pet, can’t say the same about MetLife (human) dental insurance which is a nightmare.
