My experience with Healthy Paws is Amazing!!!, my dog is my son we love him, and having Healthy Paws insurance to back us up at any moment, (and I really mean ANY MOMENT) is just a breath of fresh air. He has had around 4 surgery so far 2 of them this year, and healthy paws was able to leave up to our expectations in all of them. Great Customer Service,
Great response time, and the app. is so convenient when making a claim.

Hands down EMBRACE is the BEST!
We have been with embrace since 2010 and I am beyond SO ETERNALLY grateful for this amazing company and family! Without them, I’d never have be able to afford to give my 4lb tea cup yorkie (little angel in a doggy body) an amazing life that every pet and animal deserve. When I got 8 week old Bella my mom told me to get pet insurance. Hands down, Embrace seemed like the best across the board. They were clear on their annual cap and reimbursement percentage per claim so that’s who I went with. I would have never expected to need to them as soon as I did when Bella was viciously attacked at just 3 months old. Without Embrace, I wouldn’t have been able to afford Bella’s life saving ER care after the owner (of the white Malamute which was off a leash while she rollerbladed) took off leaving me with not just a disheartened heart in humanity, but also left me with a hefty medical bill followed by a year of intense home health care, medication, re-integration therapy, and doctor visits for Bella. Embrace annual fee is worth every single penny!

Excellent coverage allows me to focus on getting the right care for Shiloh
Trupanion comes through once again!! My 9-year kitty started showing signs of liver problems. After initial blood tests and supplement treatments, my vet recommended an ultrasound. Having Trupanion insurance, I didn't have to hesitate to have the pricey test done. I filed my claim and Trupanion approved 90% coverage the next day. The ultrasound determined that she'll need to take two medications (likely for life) and have on-going monitoring of her liver health. Having this insurance means I can afford these tests and medication and focus on her quality of life (i.e., playtime and snuggles). Important to start coverage when they're young and healthy -- you may not have a claim for years, but as our pets age, like us, they need support and you'll be so grateful to have this coverage. Very positive overall
While it would be nice for Healthy Paws (probably like all pet insurance options) to be a bit more transparent upfront about what isn't covered (vaccinations, regular wellness checkups, and most annoyingly the checkup/consultation portion of what are otherwise emergency care visits), we've overall been quite satisfied. The website is user friendly and the reimbursements are prompt and painless.
The only issue we had was in uploading supplemental medical record files when they were requested. HealthyPaws said we could email them but then didn't acknowledge receiving them until we uploaded them a very specific way on our third attempt. This held up our initial reimbursement and was frustrating but we ultimately got past it.
Most importantly though, our puppy Louie had a serious health scare at 7 months and Healthy Paws was there for us so we're very grateful and will continue using them.

Quick, prompt claim processing
I do appreciate Trupanions acceptance of my Veterinary invoices (claims) I sent. It was very quickly handled and the reimbursement was very prompt! I had sent multiple ones and they were quickly reviewed - It did help me out a lot!
