Profoundly dissappointed with the claims I have filed now over 2 months ago. Learned that Embrace was needing clarification from my Vet. I called Smiths Vetinary Hospital in Santa Fe, which is a reputable and well know long time vetinary. I let them know that Embrace had sent requests to them and they had not responded. While I was on the phone with Smiths, they emailed my felines entire medical records 3 weeks ago. USAA should reconsider who they recommend. I regret having dropped Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Broken claims system online

Ashley was very hekpful and sent me the information to submit my clain manually, but the claim forms will not open (get and OOPS from Embrace online) and I still cannot add a pet to my current claim online - please have your tech folks look into that!

My cat had a emergency event and had to take to animal hospital. I filed a claim and at first thought I was getting the run around for reimbursement not knowing how pet insurance worked. Well it took 2 months with all documentation as a first time claim. I am happy to say that embrace lived up to it's promise and paid the claim. Thank you very much for your service.

Live Vet 24/7 Chat Yay!

The customer service rep Stephanie was very thorough in explaining how Prudent Pet operates. She answered every question down to the last detail. I love the fact that Prudent offers a portal to chat with a live veterinarian. This was a huge factor in choosing a pet insurance company. It's kind of like an extra guardian angel sitting on the shoulder of my pets (2 cats Charlie & Nicky) and that makes me feel a bit more secure should an emergency situation arise. I also feel the cost of the policy is amiable. Not too expensive and not too cheap. I am hoping this company is a good fit for me, Charlie and Nick. Laura, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Once I set up our account

Once I set up our account, I had a few questions regarding the required medical records. Our dog, Sadie, is a 7 year old rescue with no medical history prior to being picked up as a stray a few months ago. I initially signed up for Embrace Pet…

I initially signed up for Embrace Pet Insurance, starting with a monthly of $37, which later increased to an astonishing $178 per month. I wanted peace of mind, knowing that my dog would be covered in case of a serious illness. Unfortunately, when the time came to file a claim, Embrace denied it, citing a “pre-existing condition.” My dog was healthy at the time I purchased the policy, which my veterinarian can confirm, yet Embrace insists that her later-diagnosed tumors are connected to a condition supposedly present before coverage, without providing any concrete evidence. Based on numerous previous reviews, it seems I’m not alone in this experience. Embrace appears to use the same “pre-existing condition” reasoning to deny many claims, raising serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of their insurance practices. My dog is no longer with us, yet I still have to deal with this, and it deeply upsets me. Embrace, please don’t waste time responding to this review if it’s only to add yet another standard paragraph about my pet’s “pre-existing condition.” The pattern is clear.
