Although I have had a Trupanion policy for several years, several weeks ago was the first time that I filed a claim. The customer service representative who answered my call was extremely polite, friendly and professional. She very patiently explained to me exactly how to quickly and efficiently file the claim, and what to expect in the future. Also, I apparently had an issue with my login information and she steered me through that process as well. Wonderful experience!

Ali is simply the BEST customer rep I have ever dealt with. Ever. When I called, our dog was facing emergency surgery for an unknown mass and enlarged lymph node on his ileocolic junction causing pain and high fever, with the very real possibility he would never wake from that surgery. He had gone from a happy, carefree dog to possible death in a few short hours. I called Ali as we sought pre-approval. She compassionately listened, I explained we had gone from one ER vet to another more equipped to handle the situation where one claim was already filed, and sensing my distress, she told me to simply email her the estimate from the hospital and she would file the paperwork immediately. She took care of everything for me and let me focus on consoling my wife and myself rather than making me fill out more paperwork. I am forever grateful she took my call and grateful for her humanity and compassion for us and Cooper.
