Although I was quite skeptical of pet insurance I am absolutely amazed of how pleased that I am with Pets Best Health Insurance. We adopted our kitty from a shelter and had no idea of her history. She has dealt with some significant medical issues that were pre-existing and we thought that she was healthy. About a year later she developed a condition that left her unable to use her back legs. We immediately took her to a veterinarian where she received outstanding treatment. She is now healthy again and Pets Best processed the claim within twenty-four hours. Thank You!!

Very dishonest
Very dishonest. Recieved an email to update my payment method, when i did i was charged $716 for 3 months (absolutely rediculous, at 71 years old its like a second mortgage). I called immediately, but they said you can only make a change in February and if i cancel now its $250 charge for the month. They said if i dispute this charge with my credit card it could take 8 weeks then I would be charged $500 for two months. Its bad enough they are forcing me to go without insurance, a $716 premium every 3 months is outrageous, they are gleefully stealing my money. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Pet's Best Comes Through Again
Once again Pet's Best has my (and my dog's) back. I recently had a particularly complicated claim, and Pet's Best needed to reach out to my Vets for additional backup documentation. They communicated with me throughout the process, kept me up to date on status. Not all expenses were covered but Pet's Best clearly explained the benefits in accordance with my policy. My Vet mentioned that having the procedure has helped his life prospects and quality of life, and having this insurance helped make the decision easier. I tell all first time pet owners how having pet insurance has helped us and our dog, and that Pet's Best has been very good to work with. My wife was skeptical about buying pet insurance, but has since seen the benefits. Having the insurance has truly helped make some of the tough decisions around our dog's healthcare a little easier to make. Thanks again, Pet's Best!
Stay away from pets best
Stay away from pets best. Find a different pet insurance company. They are crooks and will rip you off. I had insurance with that company. I am sorry I did. I canceled the policy on my 3 pets because I couldn't get ahold of customer service without being on hold forever. They took money off the card I had on file when I didn't owe them a dime. I'm glad I canceled. If I needed to use the insurance I'm positive I would have problems submitting a claim and getting paid like so many other people left reviews about.

Do not buy pet insurance here
We have had a pet insurance policy with them for our cat for the past 16 years. We have never had a issue and our monthly payments have been reasonable increased over the years but they just went from $106 per month to $245 which is close to a 150% increase. We have paid this company over $20,000 over 16 years and now our rate is unaffordable to us just as our cat is likely going to need insurance the most. We haven't made many claims and when I asked about the increase I was told it is determined by breed, vet costs in our area and inflation. The 150% increase seems like a stretch and it feels like this company is trying to rip me off and they are acting in a gross, unethical way. How is it in any way, shape or form okay for companies to have a consistent premium for 16 years and then just increase it so exponentially that people who have paid into it for years can no longer afford it.
