Totally worth it
Fiona is too curious for her own good- I got the policy after I was looking at a potential dental procedure for her. Ended up using it because she ate *something* that she shouldn’t have and we ended up at pet urgent care on a Sunday night. Lemonade was great with handling the claim- the chat feature let me put the info in bit by bit, so it wasn’t overwhelming and I didn’t forget anything. Took about a week to get everything processed and I was given an explanation and breakdown of costs and coverage. And they checked in to see if Fiona was feeling better!

Great Customer Service, Poor User Form
The customer service is great and responsive. However, the user form is restrictive and prohibits customization.

SO EASY!!
I am SO happy that I went with Lemonade. My JoJo has allergies and has to take Apoquel. Filing claims with Lemonade is easy and hassle free. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Small Claims easy, Others not so much
We signed up in July ‘21 and paid for the premium level insurance and for the most part, it was a great service, quick and easy but those were just puppy shots. Once we actually had a real claim of any substance it took a long time to get a response. Not to mention, the claim process was much more difficult. For example, some items on your invoice just aren’t an option in the app drop down list and you’re left unsure as to what to do. We ended up just sending the whole invoice in instead of listing itemized services but that created a lengthy delay in reimbursement. Then we discover that only 3 vaccinations are covered in a given year…for a young puppy, who needs shots about every month for 3 months.. So we pay premium prices for what exactly?

Best pet insurance ever
This company is amazing. Our cat went for a well check and vaccine. I came home, completed the claim, submitted it, it was approved & the money was in my account the next day!! Super easy and helpful techs.

Compassionate
Lemonade has made a huge difference to our family. Our pet had 6.5 years of health until a rare disease suddenly took his sight, and cancer soon after. Every employee I’ve spoke with has exceeded our expectations for kindness, thoroughness, being empathetic, and compassionate. They have listened to me in my triumphs and sorrow.
