Truly Outstanding
I work for a large health insurance administrator so I'm familiar with and was expecting the usual 'insurance company runaround' when it came time to submit my dog's $2,100 cancer claim. Boy was I surprised to get the notification that my claim was approved and the check was on its way just two weeks after submitting the paperwork. This is the best customer service and claim processing I've seen in over 12 years in the industry -- bravo Trupanion!!!

We have 2 beagles on the Pets Best policy. Gabby and Baily. Gabby has been suffering from nose allergies and every morning she scratches and rubs her nose so violently on the furniture I have to move it back when she is done. When we took her to the vet. I said there goes another $200. But when I submitted the claim Pets Best approved it and the claim money is in the bank. Thanks Pets Best

So far, so good!
We got the 6-week PetSecure voucher from our breeder. Two days after bringing our Golden Retriever puppy home, she was diagnosed with a Grade 4 heart murmur, and after a visit with a cardiologist and a specialized ultrasound, with subaortic stenosis. At first, the dates of the voucher had been incorrectly entered, which would mean that we wouldn't have coverage. However, a quick call to the company fixed that right away. Not only did Pet Secure process our claim, but we're able to extend coverage and pick a level of coverage (Secure 1-4) without her heart disease being considered a pre-existing condition. Since our dog will need monitoring and care throughout her life, this is a relief. I do wish that there wasn't a risk of our coverage dropping below 80% coverage if we eventually make continued use of our policy, but that hasn't actually happened yet.

Dr. Sandra Madden from MyVet made a home visit for our aging Labrador. This was much less traumatic for our timid dog. Trupanion's reimbursement arrived very quickly after submission.

Healthy Paws Insurance is the best!
We have been so appreciative of the regular communication and prompt processing of our claims for our beloved Bailey. I was hesitant for years to take out pet insurance as I had heard that not much was covered. This has not turned out to be the case. After Bailey's surgery, we received a check within six days. If I have a question, even on a weekend, I get a reply which is so helpful. Bailey and Buttercup are remembered on their birthdays, etc. I recommended this company to a friend, and she, too, has been happy with the service. We are so grateful that we were introduced to Healthy Paws.

2 years with Embrace and very happy

Extended our Dog's Life
Our Terrier Mix, Kelley Anne, was diagnosed with Menangiosarcoma and given a short time to live. They recommended a splenectomy to add another 6 months to her life. She came through the operation by VCA, Norwalk, CT, very well and is now enjoying a good lifestyle. We know that this will not be a permanent fix but at least we still have our wonderful pet with us. Thank you Pets Best for paying for most of her treatment.
