Bye bye Embrace
Embrace was hard to deal with 4 years ago when I signed up. Lots of issue with them not getting my dogs vet records and then I find out months later I wasn't covered due to them, they never notified me of this either. Now 4 years later and I don't think I had any claims with 3 dogs insured my rates went up almost 60%. Found a new company promptly

Quality of Life Commitment
Our decision to go with Trupanion again was based on our previous experience with them. They were there for us when our dachshund got sick and promptly paid claims as we submitted them. They were caring and supportive and helped us through the final claims process after he passed. For this reason, we decided to go with Trupanion again for our new puppy. While we cannot predict the future, if our puppy gets sick or injured, we feel better knowing Trupanion will be there for us again.

Trupanion is the only one that pays directly to the vet. In an emergency, if you can't come up with the money, it puts your pet at risk so that's why we picked it. A little pricey and hopefully rates don't increase as she gets older.
