Wonderful first call to set up…
Wonderful first call to set up coverage. I have a lot of hope that this experience will be better than our previous pet insurance company. The rates are certainly much better, so that's a great start!

Way simpler than expected
My cat ate polyester stuffing and had to go to the emergency vet. The claims process was extremely easy and everything was processed rapidly. I appreciated the clarity of the EOB too. Overall, I wish my human health insurance operated to the same standard of professionalism!

"All insurance policies are needlessly too complex to fully understand, and too much is left to the subjective opinion of the insurer, rather than the considered opinion of the doctor. That said, I pay a small gortune to get the highest coverage gor my two dogs, and Pets Best has proven to be as responsive and, fair as any other pet insurance I have tried over many years. So, I can recommend them : )

Embrace has been such a comfort, us knowing that he will be able to receive the care Jonas urgently needs at times . We love our mini Schnauzer and are so glad we chose Embrace - their website is easy to use and their processing is prompt and very reasonable and considerate of our needs.

Nationwide does not care
Petco insurance is canceling our policy and telling us to obtain a new policy with nationwide, which makes me think they are affiliated with them, well nationwide is telling me that they will not cover pre-existing conditions however Petco is transferring his over to that company with no other options, we have been with Petco for over 4 years and it is not right nor I believe legal to force us to be canceled and go to a company That's affiliated with them and have us start from scratch again. We got insurance in the beginning so we would not have to go through these situations. Nationwide was not very helpful at all, also they want two months up front for a payment that's absurd.

Kind of slow processing claims.
So far they have been okay to deal with. They seem to always want more information which was already sent into them. They aren't the quickest at paying claims, but I've not experienced using any other companies.
