Was submitting a claim on line and had a question on category for Darling's visit so called to have it clarified. Nick was very friendly and informative and straitened out the issue.

Getting the run around.

Most of my claims are slow to be reviewed. It appears to me anytime I have a claim that is more than $100.00 they have to review my pets records. They request records from my vet. A week later I will receive another email telling me that my vet has not sent the needed records. I have been in contact with my vet. They reassure me that the day they receive they sent the records. I feel that Embrace gives me the run around hoping that I will give up on asking for a reimbursement. I do not recommend this insurance. I gave 2 stars because the small claims have been settled in a reasonable time frame.

Simple approval process despite a rescue dog with preexisting conditions and multiple past vets

I just have to say that the claim review and approval process for my rescue dog, who had some preexisting issues at the time I adopted him that were treated by the rescue vets, was very straightforward and easy to document and upload to Pets Best. I uploaded my claims for the procedures she had at her current vet, uploaded her SOAP notes and medical records from our vet, and then as for supplemental documentation, I uploaded the entire medical records that the rescue’s vet had for all the treatments they did for her from the time they put her up for adoption until I adopted her and they stopped treating her. Uploading was simple through the app and website. And Those complete records helped because in less than a week they approved the claim and applied it to the deductible and issued payment for the rest without any need for further questions or documentation. Very simple and easy and a relief!

You pay extra for wellness care?

You pay extra for wellness care, I feel the reimbursement should be slightly higher as prices at the Vets have increased, the reimbursement should be at some par to their increases. In my case I paid $800.00 and got a total back of about $115.00!

Embrace is still the best pet insurance…

Embrace is still the best pet insurance available…we have 2 cats insured that require medical assistance. Embrace has very simplified digital processing procedures for claims and has always been extremely responsive in refunding expenses. We routinely get refunds into our banking account within only a few hours of claim submission. A USAA company…we get a 25% discount on our pet insurance premium as USAA members.

Veterinary Student - I do not recommend Fetch!!!

I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with my Fetch experience. I am a veterinary student and have worked in the field for years. I finally decided to get pet insurance 5 months ago, and after deliberations I selected Fetch. However, I regret this decision because I have had the hardest time even getting claims reviewed. My cat has been very sick and had multiple ER visits the past two months. However, they will close my claim or deny my claim stating that they do not have the medical documentation. With his full medical history, I submitted bloodwork that I had performed because I had gotten it free, and they did not see a veterinarian. Somehow customer service cannot understand that there are no SOAP notes associated with the visit, despite speaking with customer service multiple times on the phone and emailing customer service. They also do not respond to their email despite stating they will reply within 5-7 business days. The employees tell me that they are making a note, but then nothing ever changes and my claim still gets closed and/or denied. I will not be able to recommend Fetch to clients in the future given that I cannot get them to properly review a claim of mine that should be approved given the plan I am actively paying for.
